Sister Wives‘ Kody Brown is furious at Christine Brown as the first episode of Season 17 rolls out on TLC Sunday night. At first, he feels rejected. But then the real reason he’s in a rage emerges. What he says next is sad for any wife to hear. Plus as he goes on, it gets worse.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown Frantic Over Money Not Christine Brown?

Kody Brown’s dilemma unfolds in the new season. But it was taped over a year ago. Sister Wives viewers already know the outcome of Christine’s threats.

Still, they don’t know the awful things that went on before she made the big push to Utah. But after Sunday’s new Sister Wives episode they will.

Sister Wives Season 17 is that window into the wrath of Kody once realizing Christine’s game playing wasn’t a game at all. To some fans, it sounds as if he’s out for no one but himself.

But first, he dances around the reasons he wants her to stay in Flagstaff and be part of the family, and almost sounds sincere at times. Although, that changes quickly.

Jaws Drop as Kody Brings Desperate Measure to the Table

Soon, it becomes clear that Kody is not upset over losing a partner in Christine. He doesn’t try and convince her to stay by saying he loves her.

No, instead he tries to make it about the kids. He claims as the father to her six kids he wants her to stay put in Flagstaff. Christine later does some math in front of the Sister Wives camera.

Fans learn that in the last 800 days, Kody only spent three of them with her arm of the family. Plus, Truely Brown, is the only child Christine has left at home.

The other kids are off at college or married or adulting. A few of them live in Utah, where Christine plans to move. So, she wants to be near her kids, which wouldn’t be the case in Flagstaff.

Then, when Christine tells Kody she won’t stay in a marriage without intimacy, he shares a bizarre idea with her. But what he offers shows just how desperate he is. Although it might fool you at first.

He tells her to find a guy, get married, then bring that guy into the family. He claims this will keep the family together. But keeping the Sister Wives’ family intact is not exactly what drives Kody. Next comes the whopper that puts him in a dark place for many fans.

Kody Brown finally spits it out for Christine Brown. He tells her that she’s moving to the most unfriendly state in the union when it comes to polygamy. So, for a minute you think he’s watching out for her.

But that is not where he’s going with his line of thinking. Keep in mind his suggestion to marry a guy and bring him back to the family. He then tells Christine his biggest worry.

He fears they frown upon polygamy in Utah, he’ll end up losing his rights to Truely. Okay, you might feel for him there. That is only until he lowers the boom.
