‘Sister Wives’: Kody Catches COVID – Crisis Covered on TLC Show
Sister Wives star Kody Brown spent a lof of time and energy to safeguard against COVID. But, despite all his efforts, he caught it. When asked recently if he contracted the virus, he confirmed that he did. But he also claimed because “that would be a spoiler”, he can’t talk about it.

So, it looks like those strict rules Kody Brown put into place to avoid contracting the virus didn’t work. He caught the virus and he described how it did “bad things” to him.
The Sister Wives patriarch wouldn’t give the details other than saying how awful it was. So, it seems as if viewers will get to see just how he navigated with the symptoms.
Will this award Kody some empathy with his viewers? Some fans are brutal to the father of 18 this season. Because Christine Brown, left him in real-time, fans are blaming him.

It will be interesting for the fans to see that despite his careful tactics he contracted this virus anyway. So, it’s something that Kody Brown will discuss in the Sister Wives’ upcoming episodes. Since the husband of four is adamant about not catching COVID on the show, chances are he’ll have an idea of how he was exposed.
TLC Star Looks In Hindsight?
Kody had all the right ideas about keeping his family safe. But from what three of his wives said, he seemed to apply a tad bit of overkill to his rules. Janelle Brown described how strict Kody Brown was as he went about taking precautions. She said that her shared husband took an “uber, uber, uber careful stance.”
Christine Brown didn’t follow what he put out there for the family. She said she choose to see Janelle, despite her husband segregating the four wives. So, it sounds as if she thought he went over the top with his rules as well.
Last week on Sister Wives, the spouses got together for a discussion on the property. Soap Dirt previously described the scene as the wives having fun together. But Kody sits there angry because they are laughing and joking. Some of the fans think he wants them segregated and COVID is only an excuse.

At that family picnic, Merri Brown watched as the younger kids play. At this event, all Robyn Brown seemed to do was try and separate the kids. Her son Solomon Brown, 10, and daughter, Ariela, 5, played with Christine Brown’s daughter, Truely Brown, 11. But Robyn gave a holler when they drifted too close.
Robyn yelled across a wide area reminding them to keep their distance from one another. But Meri, who appeared to stay mum about the whole thing up until this point, had something to say.
She pointed out that Robyn and Kody’s daughter, Ariella Brown, is only five. So keeping her six feet away from her siblings while they play, didn’t seem natural. Then of course the older kids also voiced their opinion about their father’s rules. They thought it was not only ridiculous but not fair to the family as a whole.
Sister Wives: Kody Drops Hints about Show’s Future
Kody unintentionally revealed a few things about the Sister Wives series recently. When talking about officiating a wedding of a good friend, he shut down quickly because that happens in the next season. He caught himself giving away a spoiler.
So, right there viewers of Sister Wives learn that a Season 17 is already filming. Then this latest reveal about him battling the virus indicates the irony in Kody’s strict rules.

So, fans today say it seems ironic that he came down with this virus despite it all. But luckily, you can assume Kody Brown came through it all and is well, as he appears to go about his daily life unscathed from it today.
