‘Sister Wives’: Kody Brown Crying in Rare Scene [Video]
Sister Wives star Kody Brown displays rare behavior in a scene on Sunday’s upcoming episode when he cries over the treatment he endures. He claims his heart is breaking and he seems to point that finger at everyone on the TLC series.
Sister Wives: Kody Brown Opens Flood Gates
The next Sister Wives episode has Kody breaking down in tears, which is a rare thing to see. Sure, fans of the show have seen Kody Brown scowl, frown, grimace, and even display a devious grin.
But tears of sadness, well, this may be a first in over a decade of seasons. Although he’s in tears, fans of the Sister Wives series point out that it looks like he’s crying about his pain. This isn’t about feeling sadness for another member of this family.

Once fans saw his tears, they reminded the Sister Wives patriarch what tears look like when they come from real pain. Many jumped on him about reducing his daughter Ysabel Brown to tears when he refused to make the trip for her surgery.

<p><em>Sister Wives</em> fans don’t seem to take Kody Brown’s tear-filled breakdown seriously. Some even accused him of faking the crying jag. He says practicing COVID safety has been hard on the family. But three of the <em>Sister Wives</em> have a different take on what’s been hard on this leader of the family.</p>
<h2>TLC Patriarch Sees Opposition</h2>
<p>No one is listening to Kody, it seems. So, as Soap Dirt previously discussed, he now claims that he is no longer the leader in two of his <em>Sister Wives’</em> households. But if you listen to three out of his four wives, he set up some rules that are almost impossible to follow. This is one of the main reasons for the unrest within the family.</p>
<p>He expects every member of his family to abide by his guidelines. If not, then they cannot be around him and there’s no wiggle room, it’s all or nothing. It also sounds a lot like Kody sees his wife, Christine Brown as the opposition today. In the <em>Sister Wives</em> video below, Kody and Christine appear in a scene and you can cut the tension with a knife.</p>

In this scene, he’s signing financial forms, assumingly for Ysabel Brown’s surgery. He completely ignores his third wife as she tries to explain what each document says before he signs on the dotted line. But he just whips off his signature before she can say much, acting as if it is a harrowing task
In another scene, she makes it clear that she’s had it with Kody. Many factors pushed her into leaving him. But she doesn’t make her exit until after this season airs. So, what you are watching this season may have driven her to leave the husband of four. In real-time she now refers to herself as “divorced.”
Sister Wives Have Their Say about Kody
Robyn Brown stands behind Kody and states how hard this has been on him. From what the fans of Sister Wives see it looks as if he refuses to be around the rest of the family except for Robyn and her biological kids.
Meri Brown stays somewhat neutral in this mess. Ariella Brown, Robyn and Kody’s youngest child, is 5-years-old today. But she was only 4 when filming this season. So, Meri spoke up about her.
She said it’s not natural behavior for this little girl to be kept 6-feet away from her siblings as she plays. It’s probably safe to say that Meri, like Janelle and Christine, thinks these rules are above and beyond what’s needed.

Christine Brown didn’t sugar coat it for the Sister Wives audience, she’s had it and there’s nothing there for her with him anymore. Perhaps Janelle had the toughest time attempting to appease both Kody and her kids. Gabriel Brown seems to believe it’s Robyn driving the bus on all these rules.
Janelle Brown tried to defend Robyn Brown by saying she believes his dad is behind the rulemaking. But Gabe rolled his eyes – he didn’t seem to buy what his mom was selling. So, Kody Brown is not in a good place with several people from his once big happy family today. Will there be more tears from Kody this season?
