Sister Wives star Christine Brown‘s daughter suddenly makes headlines as a new report seems to throw shade on her marriage.

The TLC series featured this marriage in an episode several seasons ago. But today the online buzz puts Aspyn Brown Thompson as a blood relative to her husband Mitch Thompson. So, this has sparked a recent debate.

If you asked Christine Brown today how happy she is, she might tell you that her cup runneth over in glee. She has everything she dreamed about having when starting a new solo life, leaving Kody Brown behind.

From what Sister Wives fans have seen, her daughter’s relationship with her husband is also filled with happiness. It looks like mom is taking a lesson from her daughters. Because they are both married to men who seem thrilled with one wife only.

One of the best things that Christine discovered is she likes being with a one-woman-man. So, that makes David Wooley a keeper as far as the Sister Wives celeb is concerned. He’s all hers and now there’s even talk of wedding bells in the near future for Christine Brown.

Fans of the Sister Wives show may remember the several times wedding bells rang on the TLC series. But the first wedding was back at the beginning of the series. That’s when Robyn Brown married Kody Brown. Sadly, that didn’t fare well for Christine.

Although, it looks like that wedding opened the starting gate for Christine’s many years of feeling slighted. That’s because Kody seemed to favor wife number four, which hurt Christine.

But after that wedding, it seems as if the adult kids got married off at the rate of every few years. This included a couple of Christine Brown’s daughters.

That was back on June 17, 2018, which means their 5-year anniversary rolls around this June. From the latest reports, they’ve been happy and working hard for their goals in life.

But today it looks like some attention is drawn to their union. And… it’s not positive attention.

It seems Mitch is a blood relative to Aspyn. Okay, it might sound somewhat taboo when you hear they are related. But when you learn how you may ask yourself – so, what’s the big deal?

So, just how far back do you have to go in this couple’s bloodline to find that they are distant relatives? They are related to Christine Brown’s side of the family. Well, the two of them share great-great-grandparents. Byron Allred Jr & Mary Clark Allred were their names.

Rulon Allred is Aspyn’s great-grandfather. He is the brother of Beth Allred Jessop, who is Mitch’s great-grandmother. So, Rex Allred, who is Aspyn’s grandfather, is the first cousin to Evelyn Jessop, who is Mitch’s grandmother.

Then trickling down to Christine, she is a second cousin to her son-in-law’s father, Dennis Blaine Thompson. Okay, so what does all this mean to Christine’s daughter and her husband?

After all that, it means that Aspyn and Mitch are third cousins. When Sister Wives fans heard the couple were related by blood, some questioned whether their marriage is legal or not.
