‘Sister Wives’: Caleb Spared from Misery After Kody’s Reveal?
Sister Wives star Kody Brown said something about his son-in-law Caleb Brush as he was moving to North Carolina a few seasons back.
What Papa Brown said on the TLC show makes you wonder if Maddie Brown Brush’s husband moved in the brink of time. Or could he have saved Kody if he was still in the area?
Sister Wives: Kody Brown Admits Caleb Brush More Than Son-in-Law
While Kody Brown raised eyebrows all through the decade of seasons, he seemed to have more than an edge for fans in the last few seasons. When Kody moved his family to Flagstaff, Maddie Brown Brush and her husband Caleb were there to help.
Once they got to Flagstaff, Caleb, and Maddie said their goodbyes as their next move was to North Carolina. The Sister Wives patriarch became teary-eyed. But not when hugging his daughter or his grandson. No, his eyes welled up while hugging that son-in-law goodbye.
That is when Kody made a comment that his son-in-law was also his best friend. So, his best buddy was moving thousands of miles away. But looking back, was that a good thing for the couple?
Caleb and Kody – You are Known By the Company You Keep
Once Caleb Brush moved a few more seasons of the reality show played out. It was in these latest seasons that fans saw Kody’s behavior as belittling towards three of his wives.
Or at least much more belittling than he ever was before. Kody claimed he needed to get better control of his wives. But that was before three of his marriages imploded.
His words came back to bite him as the Sister Wives fan base rumbled each time he seemed to put one wife or another down. With that said, best friends usually have a lot in common. And Kody referred to Caleb as his best friend.

<p>So, if Caleb Brush had stayed in the area and filmed with his best buddy, <em>Sister Wives</em> fans might have grown tainted towards Caleb too. But instead, he moved his growing family to North Carolina where he had a great career offer.</p>
<p>So, it looks like the move, whether done to intentionally get away from Kody Brown or not, created a buffer for Maddie’s husband. That might be a good thing as the old adage says, “you’re known by the company you keep.”</p>
<h2>Sister Wives: A Missed Save for Papa Brown?</h2>
<p>From everything viewers have seen concerning Caleb Brush, along with what his wife Maddie has to say, this is one great guy. He is a wonderful father and a husband who would make any young wife proud.</p>
<p>Both Maddie and her husband supported each other through some tough decisions after their daughter Evie Brush was born. They are a great couple from all reports, and they seem very happy together.</p>
<p>Caleb shows respect to his wife, as well as his mother-in-law, Janelle Brown. But this seems almost the opposite of Kody Brown’s behavior, or so suggests the <em>Sister Wives</em> fans.</p>

So, it looks like Caleb might have been a good influence on Kody Brown if the two were still living close by. As a best friend, you might expect him to talk to his father-in-law about what fans call his inappropriate behavior.
They see this towards his wives and some adult kids on the Sister Wives show. He could have shown Kody the error of his ways. Especially after the incidents when he brought family members to tears.
So, if Maddie and Caleb had relocated to Flagstaff with the Sister Wives family things may have been different. If the two men spent a lot of time together, maybe he could have become a good influence on the man with four wives.
Then again, if not, Caleb Brush’s reputation might have taken a nose dive because of the company he would have kept. But that’s not the case, he didn’t keep that company. So, from all accounts, he’s a model, husband, father, and in-law to his wife’s mom and siblings.
