Robyn Brown – From No Gas to Driving the ‘Sister Wives’ Family?

Sister Wives star Robyn Brown doesn’t seem to march to the beat of the family’s drum anymore when it comes to shared assets. When you look back to what Robyn brought with her into the Sister Wives family, it seems she’s come a long way money-wise.
Sister Wives: Robyn Brown Almost Didn’t Make It
A lot of Robyn Brown’s courting period with Kody Brown didn’t appear on the screen. What was shown looked like happiness and bliss. But there were some problems financially. Kody Brown invited Robyn to his house in Utah to meet everyone. But she almost didn’t make it. Not because she didn’t want to — but because she was very low on cash.
She was so cash strapped that she couldn’t afford the gas needed to drive six hours from her home to theirs. Her cousin gave her the fuel money. She lived a few hundred miles away on the other side of Utah from the Sister Wives. When it came to moving her closer, Kody couldn’t find the funds to do this. So, they waited until her tax refund came. So it’s probably safe to say Robyn came to the family with no significant assets.
Wife 4 Taking Charge?
Up until recently, viewers didn’t see Robyn on camera taking charge of things. She often cried and said she took the blame for some of the family struggles. But that changed drastically in this season. Now it looks like Robyn Brown’s really watching out for herself.
Janelle Brown appeared bowled over when Robyn Brown came out with that news about inheritance plans for the family. She was shocked how wife number four changed things so the kids didn’t share equally in all the assets. Instead, Robyn said the offspring should inherit from their mothers, not the combined family assets as the Sister Wives always planned.
Sister Wives: Robyn Brown – Property Deeds
So, Janelle suggested that this could separate the family. Then, when you look up the deeds to the property they own, (see above), it’s interesting given this new stance. It looks like the youngest wife has the lion’s share of land ownership compared to the other wives.
Meanwhile, when she met Kody, Robyn seemed broke. But today, she decides on inheritance for all the Brown kids. Plus, her name’s on four pieces of property. And she’s become somewhat of a famous face on TV. So, it’s probably okay to say that the fourth wife got a lot of mileage out of her cousin’s gas money.
Sister Wives: Does Kody Brown Have a Problem With Robyn?
Even Kody Brown seems to see a problem somewhere within the family. He let loose on screen recently about the other wives looking to Robyn for direction when they should look to him. As Soap Dirt mentioned in a previous article, Kody Brown claims that he doesn’t feel like the leader of the Sister Wives tribe anymore.
But does that mean Robyn is suddenly filling his shoes? When she decided how all their children should inherit, it seemed to shock Janelle. And she didn’t seem to like it. Then after Kody said the Sister Wives look to Robyn Brown for her direction, it sounds as if maybe she’s taken over as many TLC fans think is the case today.
