Inside Coronation Street’s star-studded Christmas party: Newly-single Tina O’Brien lets her hair down with Georgia Taylor at boozy bash with flowing champagne, a festive photo booth and a giant tree
The Coronation Street cast let their hair down in style at the annual Christmas party on Friday, as they headed to Manchester’s famous Refuge eatery for a swanky bash.
After another year of gripping viewers with a string of storylines, stars included Tina O’Brien and Georgia Taylor joined the cast of the ITV soap for a night of partying.
Georgia, who plays Toyah Battersby on the soap, shared a gallery of snaps documenting the evening on Instagram, including some with her co-stars posing in a festive photobooth.
It comes as Corrie prepares to celebrate its 65th anniversary later this week, though it’s at a time of increased uncertainty for the soap, as it prepares to have its weekly episode count reduced in the New Year.
Georgia slipped into a sparkly red mini dress as she joined newly-single Tina and Julia Goulding heading to the party together.
Tina recently split from her boyfriend of six months of Adam Fadle, with the romance coming just months after the end of her seven-year marriage to Adam Crofts.

Snaps showed the stars larking around in a festive photobooth while enjoying the champage on offer.
The venue was aptly decorated with huge Christmas trees as the cast enjoyed a well-deserved break from filming duties.
Much of the Corrie cast, including Lucy Fallon and Catherine Tyldesley, had been pictured arriving at the party on Friday evening.
While the actors boasted big smiles and appearing to be in great spirits, the night took a turn when two people were knocked down by an Uber taxi near the venue.
Pictures showed the cab driver leaving his vehicle to check on the injured parties as passersby also scramble to help, and an ambulance was then seen arriving at the scene.
A source from the party told Daily Mail they were unaware of the accident taking place.
From January 2026, Corrie will reduce to six weekly episodes to just five, airing alongside Emmerdale in a ‘new soaps power hour.’
ITV previously announced plans to slash £15million from its budget, after revealing profits have plunged by 44 per cent to £99million for the first half of the year.

It had been reported that around 10 per cent of the current cast lists – which include 84 regulars on Corrie and 70 on Emmerdale – were expected to be dropped.
Most actors are contracted per episode and guaranteed a set number annually – a system which is thought to have become unsustainable.
The proposed cuts come as ITV undergoes a wider restructuring across its daytime programming, with major job losses already hitting shows including Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women.
In May, ITV announced there would be dramatic changes to Lorraine Kelly’s show slashed from an hour to 30 minutes and, like Loose Women, will only air 30 weeks of the year.
The new regime, set to come into effect in January, will cost a potential 300 staff members their jobs as a consultation period began, which employess thought to be let go this month.
Earlier this week the explosive first ever trailer of Coronation Street and Emmerdale’s crossover episode Corriedale was released – and it looks like it’s not one to miss.
The sneak peek of the epic episode, which is set to our screens in early January 2026, sent soap fans wild.
In the first look, viewers will see the aftermath of a terrifying crash located outside of the fictional village of Hotten, which is one of the made-up locations of Emmerdale.
It appears that the residents of Weatherfield have travelled all the way over to Yorkshire as a mix of Corrie and Emmerdale characters star in the clip.
Emmerdale fans will be happy to know that Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) and Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) will appear in the special ep.
Coronation Street legends David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd), Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) and Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) will be swapping the Cobbles for the Yorkshire Dales this time around.
But the real question is, who will survive and how exactly have the worlds of Coronation Street and Emmerdale managed to both get involved in a car collision?
ITV’s official press release states: ‘CORRIEDALE is just the start of the drama as the aftermath of the crash gives rise to fear, murderous intent, death, destruction, closely-guarded secrets, and lies.
‘Life in Emmerdale and Weatherfield will never be the same again!’
Back in May it was revealed that the shows are set to make soap history with a landmark crossover episode.
Filming for the special started back in October.
