‘GH’ Spoilers Friday, January 30: Lulu’s Confession, Britt’s Deadly Secret Revealed, Carly Cracks
General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, January 30 tease Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) makes a confession, while Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is rebuffed.
Plus, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has a new understanding of Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
Lulu’s Confession
After being snowed in together all night at the Bad Jen Café, Lulu has a confession to make to Nathan West (Ryan Paevey).
In the emotion of the situation, and after a whole jug of brandy between the two of them, they indulged in a passionate kiss!
Now, Lulu’s freaking out to him as she makes the confession-with Nathan’s wife and her best friend Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) still in a coma.
Lulu cries out, “Maxie would kill me if she knew I had feelings for you!” Nathan doesn’t exactly know how to respond to that either!
Portia Is Rebuffed
In the meantime, Portia is still with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) trying to make amends and repair her relationship with her daughter.
But Portia is rebuffed, as Trina tells her the trust is gone-Trina can never trust her deceitful mother again.
It took quite a while for her to forgive her for keeping her true birth father a secret from her, all the while deceiving Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) too.
It was a heartbreaking experience for both Trina and Marcus when the truth came out, but Trina eventually accepted Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) as her father.
But the way Trina’s acting and by the look on Portia’s face, it looks like Trina’s burned her bridges with her mother!

Cody’s Read The Riot Act After Reading Molly’s Manuscript?
Cody Bell’s (Josh Kelly) curiosity got the best of him after picking up Molly Lansing-Davis’ (Kristen Vaganos) manuscript and her dirtied carrying bag, Outback having slobbered all over it.
He read her manuscript, “Laredo Sunrise” and recognized himself as the hero in the book! It looks like Molly came back downstairs to catch him reading it, and possibly having finished-or at least read far enough to know he was her muse.
Molly doesn’t look pleased at all as Cody tries to reason with her and probably apologize. He can’t believe what he’s hearing from her as he says, “You’re mad because now I know what you really think of me?”

Carly’s New Understanding
Back at Carly’s house, she and Valentin have been warming up in front of the fire after he nearly froze while out looking for Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) in the blizzard!
Carly was able to relieve his fears, since Lulu had contacted her that Charlotte was safe with Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn).
The two will have quite the talk, both opening up to each other, and she tells him he’s not the person she thought he was, having a new understanding.
It looks like it’s in response to him telling her the same thing-bonding on a parent-to-parent level.

Danger, Josslyn Jacks, Danger!
In the meantime, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is still at Wyndemere, is probably in more danger than she thinks she is.
Because though she recognized Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) she thinks he doesn’t recognize her, saying he was Matthew the caretaker.
But he’s asking questions of her that should give her a clue that he knows exactly who she is-staring in her eyes.
The two are still sitting on a couch in front of a fireplace as Cullum asks Joss, “Wonder what other secrets you’re keeping”?
She told him she was Lucas Jones’ (Van Hansis) niece and a student at Port Charles University, which is true, but did he see her at the Five Poppies?

Jason Morgan Connects The Dots
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) connects the dots as he continues to talk to Britt Westbourne, (Kelly Thiebaud) who finally opened up to him about her being forced to work on her father’s final project.
He brought her to what appears to be a cabin, possibly one of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) safe houses, soaking wet and shivering after she rented her own boat to return to the mainland.
He asked her to tell him more about who she was working for, and while no names had been mentioned-yet-she tells him “these guys are lethal in every sense of the word!”
