General Hospital Wednesday, September 17 Recap: Jason Finds Monica Dead – Willow’s Bold Scout Move
General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, September 17, reveals that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) found Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) dead after Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) made a bold move using Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) at the Quartermaine mansion.
After Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) returned from a run, he talked to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) about the Judge Heran (Tessa Auberjonois) case as well as Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting investigation.
Dante then made his way to the stables, where Cody got Outback to hide out of sight.
Once Dante complained about Jason bringing Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) back, Cody was stunned to learn Britt was alive.
At the main house, Willow showed up at the door with Scout, so Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) was excited to see his mom and ran into her arms.
Willow was supposedly there because Monica always wishes Scout luck on her first day of school.
Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) clearly thought Willow was pulling a stunt and refused to let her take Wiley and Scout upstairs to Monica’s room.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) volunteered to take the kids instead, so that gave Tracy and Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) a chance to bicker with Willow.
However, Willow argued that Michael should take advantage of this opportunity to play nice and basically predicted the next judge would rule in her favor.
Michael remained cold toward Willow, who claimed Drew thought Michael shot him.
If Michael landed in prison, Willow insisted he’d never see the kids again.
Michael denied any guilt in the shooting before Wiley and Scout returned following their Monica visit.
Although Willow couldn’t take Wiley to school like he wanted, she hinted about spending lots of time together soon and left Michael glaring.
As for Chase, he spoke to Brook Lynn about information he had that would turn Willow against Drew permanently, but he couldn’t use it since it’d violate the rules of his job.
Later, Willow crept back inside through the kitchen, where she bumped into Chase.
After Willow claimed to have returned for Scout’s water bottle, she said she was hoping to avoid the others.
Willow wondered if there were updates on the Judge Heran case, but Chase said he was sorry and that he couldn’t help her.
In the room above Bobbie’s, Britt woke up and complained about the accommodations Jason arranged for her.
Things went from bad to worse when Britt showered down the hall and returned in a towel to find the door locked.
Downstairs, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) pushed Jason to protect Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) since she feared he might be guilty of shooting Drew.
Carly also felt that Jason owed her for keeping secrets about Sasha Gilmore Corbin’s (Sofia Mattsson) baby, so she needed to know anything he learned pertaining to her kids from now on.
Britt was still wearing only a towel when she confronted Jason over his door automatically locking.
That derailed Carly’s conversation with Jason and alerted her to the fact that he loaned his room to her.
Tracy called Jason back to the Quartermaine mansion, so Carly got the key Britt needed and gloated about her own bond with Jason being stronger.
Britt scoffed over the trust between Jason and Carly, but she ultimately wanted nothing to do with either one of them.
At the bungalow on Bondi Beach, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and S. Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) debated whether Britt would keep quiet about her WSB status along with Jason.
Vaughn and Josslyn knew it’d be tough to cut off their romance, so they tried to make every moment left count as they landed back in bed together.
Next on Wednesday’s GH episode, Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) met with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) to go over all the Drew drama, but he worried they should keep their distance to avoid suspicion.
Trina hinted about maybe working things out with Kai now that he’d stepped up for her family.
As Trina and Kai thought back to the night of Drew’s shooting, she feared they might’ve missed something.
Kai recalled the story of what happened before realizing he left behind the bat with his fingerprints all over it.
Back at the Quartermaine mansion, Tracy told Jason about spotting Michael fleeing Drew’s house the night he got shot.
Tracy wanted Jason to protect Michael and also hoped Jason would tell Monica about Drew’s shooting.
Once Jason came back from Monica’s room with tears in his eyes, he admitted he never had a chance to break the Drew news.
Jason said Monica was already gone and left Tracy stunned.
General Hospital spoilers say Monica’s death will bring plenty of mourners, so stay tuned for all the heartbreaking scenes to come.
