General Hospital Wednesday, September 10 Recap: Drew’s Paralysis Exam, Willow’s Ric Crisis and Nina’s WSB Offer
General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, September 10, reveals that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) underwent a paralysis exam while Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) faced a missing Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) crisis. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) also received an offer for WSB help, so here’s how all Wednesday’s drama played out
In Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) office, Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) showed up to defend Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) since Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) was already representing Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
Despite the issues between their fathers, Michael agreed to let Marco help him with his police interview.
Marco did a great job shutting Anna down anytime she threatened to cross over into risky territory in the questioning.
As for Drew pointing the finger at him, Michael wasn’t surprised by that news. However, Michael was adamant that he wasn’t the one to pull the trigger.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) was also on hand as Michael discussed where he went that night.
After Michael mentioned Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) being his alibi at the Port Charles Grill, he talked about getting summoned home over Wiley Corinthos’ (Viron Weaver) nightmare.
Anna wondered if Michael made any other stops on the way back to the Quartermaine mansion.
Michael flashed back to looking fierce and determined as he sat in his car that night, but he told Anna there were no other stops.
After the interview was over, Anna told Dante that they needed to find Jacinda and get her version of events.
At the Port Charles Grill, Marco knew the cops would indeed be talking to Jacinda soon, so he told Michael they needed to speak with her and get their stories straight.
Michael assured Marco that he could take care of that.
Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) also summoned Nina) for a meeting at the Port Charles Grill, where he revealed Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was demanding an in-person Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) visit in exchange for what Brennan wanted.
Brennan knew Nina had a strong bond with her former stepdaughter, so he suggested using her love for Charlotte as a way to find common ground with Lulu.
Nina realized Brennan wanted her help convincing Lulu to give Charlotte permission for this trip.
Nina urged Brennan to use Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) for this instead since Lulu actually cared about her cousin’s opinion.
Brennan argued that he liked to keep his personal and professional lives separate, so he wanted Nina’s assistance on this instead.
Since Nina and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) were under suspicion in the Drew case, Brennan hinted about the WSB helping them in exchange and suggested they’d need it soon.
At Lulu’s house, she complained to Carly about Brennan being out of line and explained the whole Valentin visit he tried to arrange.
Lulu hadn’t even told Charlotte since she knew her daughter would want to go.
Carly pushed Lulu to let Charlotte decide for herself since she’d resent Lulu if she found out her mom kept this from her.
Although Lulu appreciated the advice, she was reluctant to take it.
At GH, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) decided that what happened with Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) couldn’t happen again.
Isaiah understood that it was complicated due to Portia’s family situation and the fact that she’s his boss.
That said, Isaiah was willing to see where things might go between them if Portia changed her mind. For now, Portia and Isaiah settled on being friends.
At the café, Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) gave Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) updates on Drew waking up and decided to go visit him.
Since Drew didn’t know Kai had turned against him, pretending everything was normal would help protect them.
Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) came along and noticed Trina was upset, so Trina opened up about her parents’ marriage issues, the changed lab results and Drew’s blackmail.
After Emma defended Portia and offered a pep talk, Trina was grateful for her willingness to step up as a friend while Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) was gone.
Back at GH, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) wondered if Willow would still reunite with Drew.
Willow acknowledged it was complicated since Drew cost her the children, but he could also be the person to help get them back.
Over with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), she admitted to Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) that she overheard Carly threatening to kill Drew.
If the cops asked, Liz would have to tell them that.
Lucas brushed off Carly’s comment since she often made threats like that, but Liz wasn’t convinced that Carly was innocent.
In Drew’s room, Curtis pointed out that he had no evidence of Michael’s guilt.
Drew acknowledged that was true and suggested that for all he knew, the shooter was Curtis.
Lucas came in and privately gave Drew info on his condition.
Since things got tricky with the second bullet near the spine, Lucas warned there could be lasting effects.
Drew asked if he could be paralyzed, but there were thankfully no signs of paralysis as he curled his toes and felt things during Lucas’ exam.
Lucas also told Drew about Portia saving his life, but Drew was surprised she didn’t just let him die.
Kai eventually showed up and faced Drew’s request for a favor.
Drew wanted Kai to go get everything out of his safe at the house, but Kai pointed out it was a crime scene.
Even so, Drew thought Kai could use his key and sneak in, but Kai wasn’t comfortable doing that.
Kai asked if there was something else he could do for Drew instead, so Drew admitted there was one thing.
Back with Elizabeth, she told Willow about the digital detox email she got from Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst).
Willow flipped out since her lawyer was gone, so she guessed she’d have to find another attorney who could do this pro bono.
Liz mentioned Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) as an option, but Willow realized she still needed Drew’s help if she was going to reunite with Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko).
Kai ultimately came along looking for Willow since Drew had asked to see her, so Willow put the blinds down as she prepared to talk to him.
When Chase tried to question Curtis about the shooting, Curtis refused without a lawyer present.
Chase also sought answers about the time Curtis left the PCPD with Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) and realized Stella needed to be questioned, too.
