General Hospital Wednesday, November 26 Recap: Obrecht’s Sneaky Move, Jason Protects Sonny and Ava Betrays Nina
General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, November 26, reveals that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) made a sneaky move while Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) protected Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) betrayed Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
At the gallery, Trina Robinson (Taybana Ali) talked to Ava about pushing Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) away from Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) since she felt her dad would listen to her.
Ava advised against ultimatums before Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) showed up with a dinner invite for Trina.
Since Trina already planned to meet up with Curtis and Stella Henry (Vernee Watson), she hoped maybe Portia would come along.
Portia turned down that invitation and explained that she’d be working on Thanksgiving, so Trina was upset over the family drama and feared losing one of her parents.
After Portia reassured Trina, she spoke with Ava in private.
Once Ava flashed back to an earlier discussion with Nina, she broke Nina’s confidence.
Ava admitted to Portia that in an attempt to take the heat off Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), Nina had pointed the finger at another suspect.
Although Ava didn’t have confirmation on who the suspect was, she guessed it was Portia.
As Portia flipped out over the possibility of landing in prison and having to give birth there, Ava worked to calm her down.
Ava didn’t know if Nina had said anything to the cops and assumed that if Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) alibi fell apart, he’d land at the top of the suspect list.
Even so, Ava wanted Portia to be prepared just in case.
Portia realized that if she had to account for her whereabouts the night of Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting, that could land her in a different kind of trouble.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) had some reservations about Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) plan to pull off a traditional turkey Thanksgiving meal for the Quartermaine clan.
When Michael walked in, that led to him facing off with Chase over Willow.
Michael also shocked Chase and Brook Lynn with the news that Willow was engaged to Drew again.
After Michael hinted about it being a strategy to look more innocent in court, Brook Lynn privately suggested to Chase that Michael might be right.
Chase was upset over Brook Lynn thinking that way and questioned her since he thought she’d been considering Michael’s potential guilt.
Brook Lynn admitted she’d had a change of heart since Michael helped her take some big steps forward with Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), who called her “Mom.”
Chase softened toward Michael a bit after Brook Lynn’s positive Gio updates.
Once Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) was out on bail, he caught up with Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) upon his return home.
Meanwhile, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) spoke to Jason outside and hinted about Sonny maybe being tied to Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) disappearance.
Jason assured Lulu that Sonny didn’t have Dalton killed, so she worried about the possibility of Dalton showing back up at some point.
However, Jason shifted the conversation to all the connections that could put Danny, Charlotte and Rocco in jeopardy.
Lulu acknowledged that the kids had targets on their backs and needed to be kept safe.
At the Port Charles Grill, Drew told Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) about his small Thanksgiving wedding to Willow and convinced Martin to officiate.
Martin was surprised over Willow agreeing to marry Drew again, but Drew insisted he always got what he wanted.
Stella was there for dinner with Curtis and gave Drew the stink eye until she finally couldn’t take it any longer.
Once Stella stepped over to the bar and blew up at Drew, he hinted to Curtis that investigations could be reopened.
Martin reminded Drew that he couldn’t represent him if he went after Stella, but Drew reassured him.
Curtis was a different story since Drew still believed he pulled the trigger that night.
Michael needed to go down for the crime, but Drew suggested he’d find another way to make Curtis pay.
At Drew’s house, Obrecht showed up and admitted that although she wasn’t happy about the wedding, Nina convinced her to support Willow’s decision.
After Liesl steered Willow toward giving Nina another chance, she opened the door and let Nina in since she’d been waiting in the car.
Nina made a tearful speech about missing Willow and vowed to support her for the rest of her life.
Willow couldn’t promise that she’d ever fully trust Nina again or that they’d be as close as they were before.
That said, Willow missed Nina too and agreed to try rebuilding a relationship.
It was decided that Nina would attend the wedding, so Liesl hugged her along with Willow and celebrated the family progress.
At the PCPD, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) sought Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) help with Drew’s case since they needed to anticipate Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) strategy, which would likely involve claiming the cops botched the investigation.
After Nathan and Dante talked through the suspect list, Dante realized they needed to take a closer look at Curtis and his alibi.
General Hospital spoilers say Curtis has more challenges ahead of him, so stay tuned!
