General Hospital Wednesday, March 4 Recap: Delilah Dies While Baby Survives – Felicia’s Shocker
General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, March 4, reveals that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) pulled a gun on Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) while Delilah (Lily Cardone) faced a grim fate following her baby’s arrival.
At Wyndemere, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) guessed the safe combination might be Marco Rios’ (Adrian Anchondo) birthday, but she was forced to abandon her mission when Ava Jerome (Maura West) showed up.
Carly clashed with Ava before Jens Sidwell (Carlo Rota) joined them and brought Ava up to speed on the dinner party, which Ava scored an invite to.
At Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) place, she gave Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) the news that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) decided to give her the house.
Isaiah worried Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) wanted to make Portia feel indebted to him, but Portia didn’t think so and made it clear the house would truly be hers now.
Isaiah confessed he’d miss Portia at the cabin, but she planned to spend some nights there and wanted him to spend some nights at her place, too.
After Curtis agreed to move in with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), he asked about the lab work she had done earlier.
Jordan suggested she had one more test to go and would let Curtis know if anything came of it, so she obviously meant her pregnancy test.
At GH, Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) ran into Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and let her know Carly had a change of heart about his relationship with Lucas Jones (Van Hansis).
Josslyn was surprised to learn Carly had visited Wyndemere and was trying to get better acquainted with Sidwell, too.
Meanwhile, Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) came up with an excuse to visit Carly’s house and got Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) to let her drop off art supplies for Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears).
In Carly’s kitchen, Charlotte complained to Lulu about her grounding and how closely she was watched in Port Charles when Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) trusted her to wander around Prague by herself.
Lulu assumed Charlotte was feeling abandoned by Valentin and felt like her father was doing what was best for her by staying far away.
Josslyn came home looking for Carly and found Charlotte along with Lulu.
Charlotte went upstairs to put the art supplies in Donna’s room, but it was just a cover for her real goal of visiting Valentin in the attic.
Valentin wasn’t pleased over the risks Charlotte kept taking and pushed her to be patient since he had something in the works.
As for Lulu, Valentin warned that she shouldn’t be underestimated.
After Charlotte headed downstairs and left with Lulu, Josslyn waited for Carly in the kitchen and heard a thud up in the attic.
Josslyn grabbed her gun and ultimately barged in the door, where Valentin’s back was turned as she told him to freeze.
At GH again, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) insisted there wasn’t time to get Delilah to the OR, so she had to do the surgery in the trauma room with Lucas’ help.
Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) was also part of the medical team along with Dr. Alcott (Christopher Goodman), the neonatal specialist who worked on Deliah’s premature baby girl once she was out of the womb.
Dr. Alcott managed to get a stable heartbeat and dashed the baby off to the NICU while Britt tried to control Delilah’s blood loss.
Britt decided Delilah would need a hysterectomy, but she wasn’t able to restart Deliah’s heart once it stopped.
After Britt called time of death, she retreated to the locker room. Elizabeth found Britt crying and tried her best to offer some support.
Over with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), they recapped the Delilah situation for Nathan West (Ryan Paevey).
Nathan seemed to think there was more to the story and wound up searching around where Delilah was found.
That led to Nathan spotting Delilah’s purse under a bench, so he rummaged through it without any luck on identification.
Chase and Brook Lynn learned that Delilah’s baby girl survived, but that Delilah herself didn’t make it.
Liz noted that Delilah would eventually be taken to the morgue until they could hopefully identify Delilah’s next of kin.
Brook Lynn got weepy over Delilah being all alone and wanted to see her, so Chase accompanied her to the trauma room.
That led to Brook Lynn promising Delilah that they’d do everything they could to get the baby to Delilah’s family.
Brook Lynn expressed an urgency when it came to that mission after speaking to Lucas.
Once Nathan popped back up at the hospital, he caught up with Lulu there.
Lulu was worried about Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) reaction to them wanting to be together, but she felt she should be the one to come clean.
Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) appeared nearby and caught Nathan and Lulu in a more-than-friendly moment together, so she looked unsettled.
General Hospital spoilers say Lulu and Felicia have a confrontation coming up, so stay tuned.
