General Hospital Wednesday, March 25 Recap: Marco Is Dead – WSB Takes Jason Away

General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, March 25, reveals that Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) faced a fatal outcome while Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) exited thanks to the WSB’s swift action.

Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) managed to squeeze in one final declaration before that happened, so here’s how it all played out.

At GH, Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) pulled through his surgery and was sent to recovery.

Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) and some other WSB agents showed up looking for information, but Lucas suggested it’d be a few hours before Cullum woke up.

After things went wrong in the trauma room with Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), Liz approached Lucas with grim news.

Once Elizabeth admitted Marco was dead following multiple stab wounds, she did her best to offer Lucas comfort.

Lucas sought a moment alone with Marco’s corpse and cried over this being his fault.

The doc felt responsible for making Marco prove his love when they should’ve just run away together.

At Wyndemere, Ava Jerome (Maura West) was willing to play by Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) rules since he didn’t want to be tied down to one woman.

However, Ava felt confident she could rise to the challenge and prove she was woman enough for Sidwell.

Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) interrupted Ava and Sidwell’s make-out session with info on Marco’s stabbing, so Sidwell and Ava rushed to the hospital.

Isaiah informed Sidwell that he did all he could for Marco, but he’d lost too much blood and his injuries were too severe.

Sidwell questioned if Isaiah would sabotage the surgery to get back at him and ultimately demanded to see Marco.

Once Sidwell wept over Marco’s dead body, he decided his tears weren’t what his son needed now.

Sidwell angrily vowed to make Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) pay for Natalia Ramirez’s (Eva LaRue) death and now Marco’s.

Back with Lucas, he initially resisted comfort from Ava since that would make Marco’s death real before crumbling in her embrace.

At home, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) recapped how he followed Britt to the pier before Cullum pulled a gun on her.

Rocco also admitted to Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) that Jason showed up and struggled with Cullum, who dropped his gun.

Since Cullum had another weapon and was about to attack Jason, Rocco snatched up the gun and fired at him.

Lulu assured Rocco that she was going to take care of everything and headed to the hospital with him.

That led to Lulu giving Liz a bogus story about Rocco cutting himself in the kitchen so he could get medical attention for his hand.

At Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) place, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) showed up looking for help from Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

Since Charlotte and Danny assumed Jason was still a fugitive, Charlotte thought maybe Valentin could help Jason while he was on the run and point him to safehouses.

Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) eventually got Danny on the phone and let him know Jason had been arrested for shooting Cullum, so he pushed his grandma to help his dad since that’s what Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) would want.

Danny disconnected and hoped to see Jason, but Valentin and Carly pushed him to go home for now.

Charlotte took Danny to the police station anyway after they parted ways with Carly and Valentin.

As for Valentin and Carly, they did some strategizing once they were alone.

Valentin suggested that once Jason was convicted, he could use his Switzerland connections to arrange for Jason’s escape in transit.

Until then, Valentin and Carly planned to concentrate on proving Cullum was dirty.

At the PCPD, Jason continued to stonewall Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), who spoke with ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) about the confusing case since Jason had been so reckless.

Alexis arrived as Jason’s attorney at Danny’s request and filled him in on all the Marco horror.

Jason thought the best thing Alexis could do now is step up for Danny, especially since he was trusting her to be Danny’s legal guardian.

Dante assumed all this had something to do with Britt, so Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) was tasked with getting Britt’s statement at the hospital.

Britt claimed Jason shot Cullum after flashing back and remembering he told her to say that.

However, Britt insisted Jason was protecting her after Cullum harassed her and demanded to see Jason right away.

Back at the PCPD, Brennan and some other agents showed up to extradite Jason immediately.

The agents made it clear this could be considered an international incident and that they were under no obligation to tell Jason where they were taking him.

Dante, Justine and Alexis tried to protest, but there was nothing they could do.

Jason was led out to the van in the parking lot, where Britt rushed over and declared her love for Jason.

Jason let Britt know he loved her too as he was loaded in the van for transport.

Danny also came rushing over with Charlotte and had a meltdown as he realized the WSB agents were taking his dad away.

General Hospital spoilers say Jason’s exit will continue to drive the drama in Port Charles, so stay tuned.
