General Hospital Wednesday, February 4 Recap: Willow Sneaks Key on Michael’s Chain – Sonny Wants Cullum Dead
General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, February 4, reveals that Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) managed to sneak the key on Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) chain while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) wanted Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) dead.
Outside Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) office, Willow mulled over the extra key to Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) house and noticed Michael putting his keychain in his coat before hanging it up.
Willow and Michael entered negotiations with Alexis and Ric Lansing’s (Rick Hearst) help soon after.
After some bickering about different options, Michael was willing to accept a 60-40 custody split in his favor.
Willow said she needed a moment to think alone and stepped outside, which gave her a chance to fish Michael’s keychain out of his coat and slip Drew’s extra house key onto the ring.
Afterward on Wednesday’s GH episode, Willow accepted the custody compromise and ultimately played up how she wanted what was best for the children.
In Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) office, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) was there with blizzard-related questions, but it seemed like a ruse to quiz Laura about The Crystalline Conspiracy.
Laura noticed the book, so Josslyn said she checked it out of the library because it looked like Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) on the cover.
Laura explained that Anna was Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) obsession and clarified that P.K. Sinclair was his pseudonym.
At Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) place, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) worried about Willow having Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) moved home instead of a long-term care facility.
Nina didn’t approve of the arrangement either, but she refused to rock the boat with Willow.
Liesl eventually bumped into Josslyn at Bobbie’s, where Joss talked to her about finding a copy of Faison’s book at Wyndemere.
Obrecht confirmed Anna was Faison’s muse and that he used to smoke the same brand of cigarillos, which Joss had a pic of on her phone.
The box was new, but Liesl was certain of Faison’s demise.
After Josslyn suggested maybe someone was impersonating Faison, Obrecht also considered the idea that someone was a fan and wanted to emulate him.
After Lulu had an awkward encounter with Nathan, she found Laura and confessed she was falling for Nathan despite the Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) complications.
Once Lulu explained how they kissed during the snowstorm, she admitted to pushing Nathan away in the aftermath.
Now Lulu was having second thoughts, so Laura helped her talk through everything and felt her daughter deserved happiness.
Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) had a similar conversation with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), who convinced him to follow his heart to Lulu.
At a mental health clinic in France, Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) questioned Anna, who said she’d been chloroformed and kidnapped from her car on Halloween.
Anna shared the story of her time in captivity, but it became increasingly unbelievable due to her inclusion of Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) playing doctor, Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) visit and Faison’s return.
Anna shook Felicia a bit and wanted her help to get out of there so she could stop Faison. Felicia cried over how mentally unstable Anna seemed.
Outside Anna’s room, Dr. Laurent was there to weigh in on her new patient and hinted about Anna’s past trauma causing her to create a new reality.
Since Anna had an altercation with a police officer, she’d have to remain in France until that could be sorted out in court.
Dr. Laurent thought it’d be best for Anna to stay put anyway since moving her could add to her confusion.
Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) insisted on seeing Anna, who panicked over her being in France and within Faison’s grasp.
Since Anna was in such a terrible state and couldn’t go home yet, Emma burst into tears.
Anna tried to comfort Emma despite her own strong emotions and suggested it’d be better if Emma weren’t around for her own safety.
That way, Faison would focus on Anna alone.
Emma tried to convince Anna that she was safe there at the clinic, but Anna flipped out again and had to be sedated.
Back in Port Charles, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) spoke to Sonny about all the Anna drama happening in France.
Jason also gave Sonny updates on Cullum being Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) partner and revealed his access to the WSB slush fund that paid for the hits on Sonny.
Sonny realized Cullum was responsible for trying to have him killed and that he almost wiped out Michael.
Although Sonny wanted Cullum dead, Jason insisted that couldn’t happen yet since Cullum controlled Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) meds. If Cullum died, then Britt would die, too.
Now that Cullum was tightening his grip on Britt’s medication vials, it would make it harder for Jason to score a vial and have it reverse engineered.
Sonny agreed to hold off on Cullum’s demise, so Jason appreciated that.
Jason eventually revealed that Britt confirmed Sidwell killed Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton (Daniel Goddard), so Sonny suggested she could testify and help Laura.
However, Jason shut down that idea since it’d be Britt’s word against Sidwell’s and could put her in more danger.
That said, Jason reiterated that once he got his hands on the medication and could take care of Britt, they’d move forward with killing Cullum.
General Hospital spoilers say Jason’s plan will come with some obstacles, so stay tuned for any tricky news to come.
