General Hospital Wednesday, December 3 Recap: Freed Dogs Invade Sonny’s House – Nina & Portia’s Bar Brawl
General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, December 3, reveals that freed dogs invaded Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) house while Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) had a bar brawl.
At the PCPD, Portia showed up with concerns about Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) being summoned for questioning, but she left when she saw Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) was already in the interrogation room with him.
At the Brown Dog Bar, Ava Jerome (Maura West) made a confession to Nina. Nina wasn’t happy about Ava revealing that she’d played Portia up as a suspect in Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) case, but Ava pushed her to fix things with Portia.
As for Portia, she fumed when she arrived to find Nina with Ava.
That led to Portia bickering with Nina in the bathroom, where Nina explained that she indirectly passed along Portia’s name to Alexis to take the heat off Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen).
Nina was all about protecting her daughter, but Portia pointed out she had a child to protect, too.
Portia admitted she meant the one she was carrying in addition to Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
Nina gaped in shock over the pregnancy news, but Portia assumed Nina would let her give birth in prison if it meant helping Willow.
Portia dropped hints about Willow being guilty and ended up manhandling Nina when she tried to walk away, so they got into a bit of a scuffle.
Nina eventually stormed out of the bar along with Portia, so Ava was left alone in the end.
At the PCPD again, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) flashed back to ordering Selina Wu (Lydia Look) to get the job done in a way that didn’t tie back to either one of them.
Selina assured Curtis that Drew would be taken out and that she had the perfect person to do it.
Back in the present, Curtis shut down Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) fishing expedition, which included questions about Portia.
Curtis felt Nathan was wasting his time and advised him to talk to his lawyer in the future.
Afterward, Curtis spoke with Jordan alone at The Savoy and admitted he lied to the cops.
Since Curtis didn’t want to lie to Jordan, he prepared to make an admission.
At the Brown Dog Bar, Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) and Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) discussed the risks as well as the possibility they were being led into a trap, but they ultimately decided to move forward with freeing the dogs from the second lab.
At Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) place, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) warned that he didn’t want Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) hanging out with Gio anymore.
Rocco flew into a rage and refused to stop seeing his brother, but Dante stood his ground.
Since Dante abandoned their family twice, Rocco threw that fact in his face before stomping off.
Lulu pushed Dante to let Rocco cool off and acknowledged that it was painful when Dante left for his WSB mission as well as when he left for PTSD treatment.
However, there were extenuating circumstances that Rocco didn’t understand and he was dealing with a lot right now.
Lulu held out hope that Dante and Rocco could find a compromise once everyone calmed down.
Once Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) showed up for a Thanksgiving drink with Sonny, Rocco came over and asked his grandpa if he could stay there.
Sonny texted Dante to let him know where Rocco was and warned his grandson that he couldn’t run off like that.
Rocco needed to prove he could be trusted, but Sonny agreed to let him stay the night.
Later, chaos erupted when Gio and Emma came through the door with a bunch of dogs they’d stolen from Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) off-campus lab, so Sonny, Ric and Rocco were stunned.
At Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) place, she gave Kevin Collins (Genie Francis) updates on her decision to call Sonny instead of the cops after she discovered Dalton’s body in her trunk.
Kevin apologized for not being there for Laura, but she didn’t blame him for anything.
Since this felt like a message in addition to a setup, Kevin worried this was far from over.
After Kevin got called away to deal with a psych ward patient at GH, someone knocked at the door.
Laura looked through the peephole and steadied herself before opening it to someone unseen by viewers.
That led to Laura looking angry and admitting she thought this person would be stopping by soon.
General Hospital spoilers say Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) may be the mystery visitor, so stay tuned for the heated moments ahead.
