General Hospital Wednesday, December 10 Recap: Curtis Arrested Over Selina Video – Anna Trapped on Spoon Island
General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, December 10, reveals that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was arrested over a Selina Wu (Lydia Look) video while Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) was trapped on Spoon Island.
At Wyndemere, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) had a plan to reinvigorate Deception by selling them his minerals at cost.
That led to Sidwell explaining that he could save money by having shipments sent to the piers Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) agreed to sell him.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) was taken aback over Sidwell’s updates in this meeting, which also included Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring).
There was a catch in Sidwell’s Deception deal since he wanted to exclusively manage all imported materials, so Brook Lynn objected.
However, Lucy persuaded Brook Lynn to cave in eventually.
In a private moment with Lucy, Sidwell played up how vital this deal was and assured Lucy that she was vital to him too before they kissed.
At one point, Pascal (Marc Forget) appeared and offered up a plate of macaroons to the Wyndemere guests.
In captivity, Anna mulled over the Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) connection and wrote down what she could remember in her notepad, including the fact that she was transported by water after her kidnapping.
Later, Anna was forced to turn away and put her hands behind her head as Pascal appeared.
Pascal spoke French to Anna and offered her the plate of macaroons as he sat them down.
It certainly looks like Anna is being held hostage in some hidden dungeon at Wyndemere or at least somewhere on Spoon Island.
In the Quartermaine kitchen, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) got Kristina Corinthos-Davis’ (Kate Mansi) help breaking the news to Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) that Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) married Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Wiley wondered why he wasn’t invited along with Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko), but Michael reminded him that they had to wait on the judge to say it was OK to see his mom.
Wiley worried he’d have to go live with Drew and didn’t want that, but Michael assured him that the Quartermaine mansion was his home and offered a hug.
At GH, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) told Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) that she needed to come clean about them being together the night of Drew’s shooting.
After Portia explained that her motive to shoot Drew had leaked, she acknowledged that Curtis had worked to protect her.
In the end, Isaiah urged Portia to do whatever she had to do and assured her that he could handle whatever consequences came in his career.
At the PCPD, security footage from The Savoy proved Curtis with Selina and not alone like he told the cops.
There was speculation that Curtis might’ve been arranging for Drew to be wiped off the map.
Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) discussed the new evidence with ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor), who insisted they needed to either connect Curtis to what happened to Drew or clear him before Willow’s trial.
At Aurora, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) said she needed to talk to Curtis about Portia and the baby, so he wondered how she knew about the pregnancy.
Since Portia blurted it out during their previous confrontation, Nina had to explain how she was the reason Portia was being used in Willow’s defense strategy.
Curtis lashed out at Nina before Nathan interrupted and got Nina to step outside.
From there, Nathan read Curtis his rights and placed him under arrest.
After a brief run-in with Nina, Portia barged in Curtis’ office and flipped out at the sight of Nathan arresting him. Since Nathan was hauling Curtis down to the station, Curtis pushed Portia to call his attorney.
Once Curtis was at the PCPD, he insisted on waiting for his lawyer before he answered questions.
ADA Turner showed Curtis a pic of him with Selina from the security footage and made it clear that they’d eventually need to know what was discussed the night of Drew’s shooting.
For the time being, Curtis faced charges of obstruction of justice and making a false statement.
Once Portia returned to the hospital, she told Isaiah about Curtis’ arrest and blamed herself for getting blackmailed by Drew.
Portia ultimately doubled over in pain and seemed to be in baby-related distress.
At Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) place, Suzanne (Jen Ray) served as a stand-in for an impartial jury as Willow practiced her testimony.
Willow played up how she fainted when she heard about Drew’s injuries and questioned how anyone could think she’d shoot the man she loved.
Drew thought Willow did great, but Suzanne felt she was too defensive and that it wouldn’t go over well with the jury.
Suzanne also acknowledged that Willow’s love for her children was evident in her testimony, but that was also her biggest liability.
It seemed like Willow would do anything for her kids, including shooting Drew.
Alexis still didn’t think it was a good idea for Willow to testify, but the choice was ultimately up to her.
After all the Curtis arrest drama at Aurora, Nina ran over to Alexis’ place and interrupted the trial prep.
That led to Nina insisting no one would have to testify since she assumed Willow would soon be off the hook.
General Hospital spoilers say Willow and Nina will await more legal developments, so stay tuned.
