General Hospital Tuesday, November 11 Recap: Ned’s Emergency Surgery, Britt’s a Hero and Nathan’s Back on the Force
General Hospital (GH) recap for Tuesday, November 11, reveals that Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) needed emergency surgery, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) was a hero and Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) was back on the force.
At GH, Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) told Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) to distract Britt once she arrived, which would give Charlotte a chance to steal her key fob.
However, Britt got busy with a medical crisis after Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) found Ned unresponsive outside Bobbie’s.
Emma grabbed Britt from inside and called for an ambulance while Britt did CPR.
After Britt got Ned’s heart pumping again, she rode with him to the hospital – though she was shut out of performing any other medical duties upon her arrival.
Over with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), she was concerned as Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) offered updates on his decision to move in with Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) at Wyndemere. Lucas defended his reasons and ultimately got Liz’s support.
Lucas took the lead on handling Ned’s case once he was wheeled in and determined that he’d indeed suffered a myocardial infarction aka a heart attack.
Gio called Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) with the news of Ned’s hospitalization and interrupted her conversation with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening), so both Lulu and Olivia rushed to the hospital.
Since Britt couldn’t find her bag, she asked Charlotte, Danny and Rocco if they could find it at Bobbie’s.
Britt confessed to Emma and Gio that she was giving the teens a distraction.
Once Olivia and Lulu showed up, Gio and Emma praised Britt as the one who saved Ned’s life.
Lucas eventually revealed that Ned wasn’t responding to medication, so he’d need an emergency bypass.
Emma took a phone call from Charlotte, who now had Britt’s key fob after finding her bag.
Gio needed to be at the hospital for Ned, so Emma obviously wanted to stay by his side.
Charlotte talked to Rocco and Danny about the change of plans, but they felt they still had to move forward with the lab break-in since tonight was their only chance.
After summoning Nathan to the PCPD, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) admitted he was sliding in the police commissioner spot while Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) was taking her WSB-related leave of absence.
Since they needed all hands on deck and Nathan had passed his psych evaluation, Dante was bringing him back on board as a detective.
Nathan’s partner would be Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), so Dante confessed he was a good cop with some blind spots when it came to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
As Dante gave Nathan his gun and badge, he embraced Nathan and offered a warm welcome back to the force.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) lashed out over Chase risking his career to prove Willow’s innocence, but he wondered if she was more concerned about him proving Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) guilt.
Chase knew he’d hold himself responsible if Willow got wrongfully convicted, so Brook Lynn supported her husband in the end – even if she didn’t agree with what he was doing.
At the Metro Court Gardens, Michael got to know Jacinda (Paige Herschell) a bit better as they drank wine.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) popped up and brought Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) over as part of her plan to make Michael drop his romantic act.
Instead, Michael introduced Wiley to Jacinda and let them bond over sundaes.
Nina confronted Michael privately over his association with a call girl and planned to document this for the court, but Michael didn’t seem concerned.
After Michael tossed some threats around, he predicted Willow would be locked up for good by the time the visitation hearing rolled around.
Michael then returned to the table, where he told Wiley and Jacinda that Grandma Nina wanted to take a picture of them together.
The three of them posed as Nina snapped a pic and looked upset over her plan not working out.
Once Nina was gone, a newly released Willow came along and found a shocking sight.
Willow definitely didn’t look pleased over Michael, Jacinda and Wiley all enjoying some bonding time together.
General Hospital spoilers say Willow will have a fierce faceoff with Michael soon enough, so stay tuned.
