General Hospital Tuesday, March 31 Recap: Fake Nathan Confirmed – Drew Recalls Willow’s Wiley Ringtone Night of Shooting

Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) also remembered something crucial while Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) made some big blunders in Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) presence. At Bobbie’s, James West (Gary James Fuller) decided to order pancakes like Nathan and got permission to go see Coach Kai when he appeared nearby with Trina.

That gave Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) a chance to speak with Nathan alone about his romance with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening).

Although Felicia wasn’t happy about it, she knew it wasn’t really her business. Felicia also felt she could follow Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) lead since Maxie was trying to accept this new situation.

Felicia gushed over how amazing it had been for James to have his real father in his life before James rejoined them at the table. Nathan planned to hit the batting cages with James, but then he got a text and claimed he had to deal with work.

James asked if Nathan had to go fight the bad guys, so Nathan hinted about going up against one in particular and admitted he wasn’t looking forward to it.

Once Nathan was gone, James told Felicia that he wanted to be a cop and a hero like Nathan. At GH, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) was surprised ahead of her baby appointment when Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) didn’t want to blast her over her latest confrontation with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper). Curtis asked if Portia wanted to find out their baby’s gender, but he was fine with it when she suggested she wasn’t ready for that.

After Curtis and Portia cleared the air about what happened with Jordan, Portia sang Curtis’ praises to Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) and left him looking worried about their lingering connection.

Once Willow gave Drew a paralytic injection, she answered the door to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). Chase admitted he wanted to be foster parents to Baby Phoebe along with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), but they feared the social worker visit went sideways.

Willow wasn’t pleased about Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) asking “hooker” questions because of Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) relationship with Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell), but Congresswoman Cain quickly agreed to put in a good word for Chase and Brook Lynn. At the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn grumbled to Michael about his suggestion to seek Willow’s help, which was putting Chase back in his ex’s orbit.

Michael didn’t think Willow would pass up the chance to play hero for Chase, so he assured Brook Lynn that his idea was a good one.

Chase eventually returned to Brook Lynn with good news since Willow had agreed to help. After Chase started rambling about strollers and pediatricians, Brook Lynn worried he was getting ahead of himself and admitted she didn’t want to get her hopes up. Nevertheless, Chase had faith that Willow would come through for them.

Meanwhile, Wiley made plans to look for spiders and fly a kite in the park with Michael.

Since Wiley wanted Willow to come, Michael agreed he could call his mom and ask her. Once Willow summoned Kai to her place, Trina tagged along with him and delivered some compression socks as a gift for Drew.

Trina admitted her feelings toward Drew were complicated, but she also had compassion and knew he didn’t deserve to get shot. Willow took Trina and Kai into Drew’s bedroom, where Drew learned Trina had a present and acknowledged it was nice with a blink.

Kai also mentioned the office could sponsor a softball team in Drew’s honor this year.

That led to Willow talking about Drew’s bat, so Kai brought up the fact that it had been taken as police evidence. Willow realized it was never given back and suggested she should follow up on that. Once Willow’s phone started ringing, Trina said it sounded like Wiley was calling her.

Kai thought Willow’s phone was likely in the living room – and after she found it there, he mentioned that the sound carries all the way to the bedroom.

Since Trina and Kai were blabbing clues, they exchanged some uneasy looks before they left. Willow seemed pensive once she was alone.

As for Drew, he flashed back to trial prep and a memory that he couldn’t quite grasp. It finally came to Drew as he recalled hearing Willow’s ringtone for Wiley the night of the shooting.

At Wyndemere, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) ordered Jordan to use her connections as the former police commissioner to get answers about the Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) investigation.

Jordan wasn’t thrilled, but Sidwell made it clear that she could lose the very comfortable life he’d given her if she didn’t comply. Curtis later overheard Jordan reaching out to a gossip-prone woman in forensics and learned what Sidwell was forcing her to do. Although Curtis hinted about Jordan quitting, she didn’t want to throw away her investigation into Sidwell’s illegal activities – especially now that he was vulnerable because of Marco’s demise.

Next, it was revealed that Sidwell had summoned Nathan to Wyndemere, where he demanded Nathan’s help to make Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) pay by any means necessary.

After Nathan hinted he wasn’t sure that was something he would do, Sidwell insisted he wasn’t talking to Detective Nathan West right now. Sidwell was talking to Cassius Faison!
