General Hospital Tuesday, February 10 Recap: Alexis Catches Danny’s Lie, Sidwell Welcomes Carly, Portia’s Decision
General Hospital (GH) recap for Tuesday, February 10, reveals that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) caught Danny Morgan’s (Asher Antonyzyn) lie while Sidwell (Carlo Rita) welcomed Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) made a decision.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) was surprised to find Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) reading Pride and Prejudice, so Cody explained the situation with Molly Lansing-Davis’ (Kristen Vaganos) manuscript and the dumb character inspired by him.
Molly said Cody was like Mr. Darcy, but Cody wasn’t grasping the similarities.
Tracy pointed out the classic romantic story structure of the female lead not liking her love interest before eventually finding him irresistible.
Tracy pushed Cody to keep reading to understand and be flattered that Molly thought about him all those months while she was writing.
Cody still seemed worried that he wasn’t smart enough for Molly, but Tracy reassured him and suggested he could control what happened in real life.
At the nail salon, Molly lashed out at Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) for sending her manuscript to her literary agent behind her back and kicking off all this drama with Cody.
Kristina felt confident that Cody would get over it and would eventually be proud once her book was a big hit.
However, Molly wasn’t ready to commit when it came to having the book published yet.
Meanwhile, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) also visited the nail salon following her split from Sidwell, but Ava Jerome (Maura West) ruined her attempt to relax and caused Lucy to leave abruptly.
At GH, Portia opened up to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) about how well things were going with Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson), but she was afraid that would change if the baby belonged to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).
However, Portia knew that it could cause even more issues with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) if the baby belonged to Isaiah.
There was also the matter of all the custody drama that could result if Curtis was the father, so it was a stressful mess that Portia was avoiding.
Liz ultimately helped Portia see that not knowing was stressing her out too, so Portia decided it was time to get a paternity test.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Danny thanked Alexis for coming and claimed he needed help with a genealogy project for school.
However, it quickly became obvious that Danny was most interested in learning about Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) and where she fit in the Cassadine family tree.
Alexis explained that Nikolai was Danny’s great-great-grandfather and Charlotte’s great-grandfather. Danny seemed relieved to know their only shared ancestor was born many years ago.
At Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) place, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) gave him news on the situation with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and worried he’d missed warning signs that she was about to go off the rails before she left.
Jason also felt guilty for staying behind to help Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) once Anna popped back up with all these Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) claims in France.
Since Anna sent Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) to Jason with a message, he thought maybe Anna did that for a reason. Sonny considered the possibility that Anna just needed mental help.
When Alexis stopped by Sonny’s place later, she warned Jason about Danny’s project being a ruse for his interest in Charlotte.
Alexis assumed Danny might be willing to share things with his dad that he wasn’t willing to share with his grandma.
Jason met up with Danny at the Q manse eventually and let him know he was there if his son needed to talk.
Danny assumed Jason knew the project was fake and confessed that he was indeed looking into Charlotte’s Cassadine roots.
Back with Sonny, he suggested to Alexis that Charlotte and Danny were a good match when it came to being thrill-seekers.
Alexis was afraid of that, which is why she gave Jason updates and pushed him to speak with Danny.
Lucy cornered Sonny alone later and surprised him by insisting she wanted him to clean Sidwell’s clock!
At Carly’s house, she insisted on going to Wyndemere in Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) place despite how much she hated manipulating Lucas Jones (Van Hansis).
Valentin urged Carly to make an excuse to check the wine cellar and see if the catacombs entrance was still there, but the most important thing was staying safe.
As long as Carly played it cool, she could hopefully score another invitation and return to Wyndemere later.
At Wyndemere, Lucas crossed paths with Pascal (Marc Forget), who was back from France and giving him an attitude as usual.
Lucas accused Pascal of being jealous of his relationship with Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo), but Pascal hinted about Lucas being vain and blind to what was really happening.
After Marco popped up and shut Pascal down, he distracted Lucas with a kiss and worked to smooth things over.
Since Sidwell had eavesdropped on Pascal’s confrontation with Lucas, he suggested Pascal needed to stay in line if he wanted to stick around.
Lucas was important to Marco, who was important to Sidwell – and that meant Lucas was important to Sidwell, too.
After a brief discussion about the Anna plan going well, Sidwell told Pascal they could let her “cook” for a while.
When Carly showed up at the door moments later, Sidwell let her inside. Since Carly pretended she was on an apology mission, Lucas was taken aback.
General Hospital spoilers say Carly will use Lucas to her advantage in the coming episodes, so stay tuned.
