General Hospital Thursday, September 11 Recap: Willow Agrees to Drew Framing Michael – Obrecht Faints Over Britt
General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, September 11, reveals that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) agreed to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) framing Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) while Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) fainted over Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) return.
In Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) office, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) brought Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) as legal representation and answered questions about the night Drew was shot.
Curtis acknowledged that he wasn’t on good terms with Drew, but he made it clear that he was innocent.
However, Curtis remained under suspicion since he didn’t have a solid alibi for the time of the shooting.
In Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) office, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) talked to her mom about the blackmail and wondered if Drew was the only one who had evidence against her.
Portia questioned why Trina needed to know that and felt that her daughter should stay out of the drama.
Since Portia saved Drew’s life, Trina hoped that would help matters.
Portia admitted Drew didn’t seem very appreciative, but she was done living in fear of his retaliation.
Later, Curtis met with Portia and sought her help since he was a suspect.
Until an arrest was made, Curtis wanted to give the appearance of a strong marriage and avoid tipping anyone off to the problems Drew caused for them as a couple.
On the plane back from Croatia, Britt woke up after falling asleep on Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) shoulder.
Jason still had questions, but Britt wouldn’t reveal much and didn’t share who she was working for.
Britt also wanted nothing to do with Jason after they landed since she still felt like he always put Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and her crew first.
However, Britt did address that she had things to do once they landed and got Jason to hand over cab money.
At the café, Liesl was delighted to bump into Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) along with Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) and Outback.
After Outback went running out the door, Rocco and Charlotte chased after her. When Rocco returned, he had a terrible gash on his head from running into a tree.
Rocco wanted Liesl to patch him up so he could help Charlotte look for Outback, but Obrecht insisted he needed stitches at the hospital.
At Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) house, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) explained that Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) asked her to get Lulu on board with Charlotte’s visit to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
Nina felt that Lulu should take control of the situation since Brennan could contact Charlotte himself and cause hostility.
Instead of being the villain of the story, Lulu had a chance to facilitate the visit and earn Charlotte’s approval.
Nina also admitted that every time she had a conversation with Charlotte, she talked about how much she missed Valentin.
That news surprised Lulu since it wasn’t something Charlotte really opened up to her about.
Once Rocco called to reveal he needed stitches, he admitted to running into Liesl.
Lulu figured she needed a buffer if Obrecht was going to be at GH, so she got Nina to come with her.
At the hospital, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) questioned Carly, who admitted she threatened Drew’s life and meant it – though she wasn’t the one who shot him.
In Drew’s room, Willow wondered what he remembered, Drew couldn’t recall who shot him and was surprised to learn Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) came to his rescue.
Drew felt that the real reason he pulled through was because he had to stick around for Willow and the kids.
After Carly came stomping in, Drew argued that if Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) hadn’t been arrested yet, then he would be soon.
There was plenty of bickering until Carly stormed out.
Once Drew was alone with Willow, he suggested that Michael doing down for this was good for them – whether he was guilty or not.
Willow hinted that someone else could still be after Drew, but that was a chance he was willing to take.
Willow wondered if Drew would frame Michael and pointed out that he’d already told the cops he didn’t remember.
Drew smugly suggested traumatic memories could come flooding back at any time and clearly planned to pretend he recalled Michael’s guilt.
Willow was fine with this plan since she’d do anything to get her kids back.
Meanwhile, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) showed up at Jacinda Bracken’s (Paige Herschell) hotel suite, where Michael emerged from the bathroom shirtless and buttoning his pants like they’d slept together.
Dante was skeptical since Michael had just been at the police station insisting Jacinda was his alibi.
Jacinda backed up Michael’s story and stepped out of the room, but Dante worried Michael was paying her to be his alibi and didn’t like the look of this.
After Dante got summoned to the hospital over Rocco’s injury, Jacinda reconvened with Michael.
It was established that it was in both Jacinda and Michael’s best interest to have an alibi, so they were helping each other out.
Since Carly assumed Anna would find out she threatened Drew’s life, she headed to her office and admitted to it.
Carly denied shooting Drew and pointed to Brennan as her alibi, but Anna knew Brennan was skilled at lying and could cook up proof.
Carly was defending Brennan right as Jason walked in the doorway and got her attention along with Anna’s.
Meanwhile, Liesl, Rocco, Dante, Lulu and Nina were all at the hospital.
Rocco went off to get his stitches, but the others were standing there along with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) when Britt walked in.
Lulu struggled to process the sight of Britt since they all thought she was dead.
“Well, believe it or not, Lulu…I’m back,” Britt declared with a smirk.
Liesl wound up fainting in Nina’s arms, so Britt looked concerned.
General Hospital spoilers say more backlash is headed Britt’s way, so we’ll bring you updates on all the escalating drama.
