General Hospital Thursday, November 13 Recap: Britt Works to Save Rocco – Laura Ditches Debate for Family Drama

General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, November 13, reveals that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) worked to save arrested Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) while Laura Collins (Genie Francis) ditched the debate for family drama.
In Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) office, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) gave her the news that they wouldn’t have to face off in court.
ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) wanted all the glory for herself, so Molly was no longer part of Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) case.
Talk turned to Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), so Alexis kept up all her lies about his time away and just hoped Molly wouldn’t be disappointed by her dad again.
At Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) place, Ric made a pitch and tried to sell Sonny on why he’d be a better lawyer than Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) on this Measure C situation.
Ric thought he could make sure Sonny kept his piers no matter what and hoped this could lead to more legal work.
Even if it didn’t, Ric at least wanted peace between them.
Sonny wanted to believe Ric despite their tumultuous past, so Ric pushed him to at least think about his offer.
On campus ahead of the mayoral debate, Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton (Daniel Goddard) demanded Rocco’s arrest for breaking and entering the restricted lab.
Laura tried to downplay Rocco’s actions and pointed the finger at Dalton for physically assaulting a minor when he dragged in her grandson.
Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) brought the police over and escalated the situation.
Rocco was found with the key fob on him, so he wound up being read his rights and hauled off in handcuffs.
Laura refused to let Rocco go to the police station alone, so she bailed on her debate with Ezra for a family emergency.
After Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) explained the latest crisis to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), Britt gave Charlotte a ride to GH.
Britt privately searched her purse and realized her missing key fob must’ve been used for the break-in.
Once Britt summoned Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), she pushed him to make Dalton back off and played up her own loyalty to the project.
Sidwell eventually met with Dalton alone and warned him to let this go since it would invite the cops to dig into their lab activities.
However, Dalton was determined to make Laura pay for humiliating him and planned to do that through her grandson.
Meanwhile, Jason took Danny to Alexis’ office, where she warned that coming forward wouldn’t make things better for Rocco.
It would only make things worse for Danny, so Jason agreed with Alexis and pushed Danny not to spill his own involvement to the police.
At the hospital, Charlotte filled Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) in on Rocco’s ordeal.
Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) overheard, so they realized the teens had gone ahead with the break-in plot and ran into trouble.
Once Gio and Emma turned to Sonny for help, he found out about Rocco’s mess.
Sonny’s phone call ultimately interrupted Ric’s catch-up session with Molly since he had a way for Ric to prove himself.
At the PCPD, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) introduced himself to Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) now that they were partners.
Nathan and Chase discussed Judge Eva Heran’s (Tessa Auberjonois) case before Dante, Lulu and Charlotte arrived.
Laura also accompanied Rocco and the police officers who brought him in. Lulu and Dante definitely weren’t happy about the sight of Rocco in handcuffs.
Nathan took the cuffs once Rocco once he was in the interrogation room and let him speak with Lulu alone.
Lulu got Rocco to recap what happened while Britt showed up at the station next.
Nathan suggested Britt should leave since Rocco already had his parents there to support him.
Dante expected Rocco would be charged with a misdemeanor, so Rocco was allowed to go home until he went to court the next morning.
Britt eventually stepped forward to check on Rocco and tried to be reassuring.
