General Hospital Thursday, March 12 Recap: Jason & Carly’s Weepy Goodbye – Charlotte Tells Dad What’s Up
General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, March 12, reveals that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) were forced to say their goodbyes while Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) turned down Charlotte Cassadine’s (Bluesy Burke) proposal.
In the Quartermaine stables, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) asked Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about when he first fell for Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and knew she was the one.
That led to Cody’s admission that he realized how much he cared about Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) after she fainted earlier.
Since Molly pushed him away in the aftermath, he was uncertain that she felt the same way he did about their relationship.
Dante pushed Cody toward honest communication while Molly got some advice from Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) at Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) house.
Molly was trying to avoid getting into the details of her endometriosis diagnosis with Cody, especially since it seemed too early in the relationship to talk about roadblocks to having children.
However, since Molly didn’t think kids were going to be part of her future, she ultimately realized it was better to be upfront about that sooner rather than later.
At Lulu’s place, she told Carly about her new romance with Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and how Dante took the news pretty well.
It was Maxie who flipped out and basically acted like a friendship with Lulu would be impossible if she stuck with Nathan.
Carly found out Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) supported Lulu’s future with Nathan if that’s what she wanted.
Lulu was worried about throwing her friendship with Maxie away, so Carly pushed her to do some soul-searching.
As for the topic of Charlotte, Carly convinced Lulu to ease up a little when it came to her grounding and try to rebuild some trust.
After Carly took off, Lulu announced that she was leaving Charlotte alone and counted on her to pick up Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) following his community service at GH.
Since James West (Gary James Fuller) assumed Maxie was at work, he asked Nathan to come instead after batting practice and have a juice box with him.
Maxie turned out to be working from home, so she had a private confrontation with Nathan.
Although Nathan insisted he would’ve done his best to make things work if Maxie chose him over Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), she wondered if it would’ve been out of obligation.
Maxie also didn’t get how Nathan could move on during her six-month coma and reflected on how long she grieved losing him.
Nathan insisted Lulu helped him connect with James and said they didn’t plan on their feelings happening.
If Maxie had picked Nathan, she didn’t see how it could’ve worked with his hidden Lulu desires being such a huge secret between them.
Nathan lashed out over Maxie expecting him to remain alone, but she countered that she just didn’t want him to move on with Lulu.
While Maxie was trying to explain her perspective, Lulu showed up at the door and made things awkward.
In Carly’s attic, Jason showed up with a gun and pushed Valentin to convince him that wasn’t going to hurt Carly.
Valentin explained how Carly kicked off this partnership and did his best to reassure Jason that he was motivated to protect her.
Jason also talked to Valentin about Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) being Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) partner and decided it was good Carly had Valentin instead of trying to free Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) from the WSB alone.
Jason made it clear that Valentin would pay if anything happened to Carly and headed downstairs alone.
Carly met up with Jason in the kitchen and learned he was there to say goodbye since he had to leave Port Charles with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
Jason didn’t like the idea of abandoning Carly, but she didn’t see it that way. Carly got Jason’s advice to listen to Valentin since he knew all the key players involved in their mission.
Carly also gave Jason some guidance on what to tell Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and vowed to be there for him if he needed anything while Jason was gone.
While Jason and Carly hugged, Charlotte was busy stirring up more trouble.
After Charlotte headed up to the attic, she told Valentin about catching Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) conversation with Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna).
Charlotte suggested she could give Nina bogus info to pass along to Brennan, but Valentin didn’t think that was a good idea.
However, Valentin gave Charlotte some hope since he was working on a new plan that could keep them both in Port Charles.
At the hospital, Britt shared a sweet moment with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr). After Britt hinted about saying goodbye, she ultimately acted like she was passing along a farewell message from Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) since Liesl left PC in a hurry.
Britt reflected on how grateful they were to have Rocco in their lives and pretended she’d be there to cheer him on during baseball season, even if she didn’t truly expect that to happen.
Rocco embraced Britt before getting back to his community service, so Lucas offered tissues when he noticed Britt was tearing up.
Lucas gave Britt a private pep talk and got her gratitude for all his help with the medication dose mission.
After Britt joked about Brad Cooper’s (Parry Shen) reaction if he saw their alliance, she asked Lucas to watch out for Rocco while she was away.
General Hospital spoilers say Britt and Jason’s scheme will come with some curveballs, so stay tuned.
