General Hospital Thursday, February 12 Recap: Maxie Stuns James, Georgie & Felicia – Curtis’ Paternity Proof
General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, February 12, reveals that Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) awakening stunned James West (Gary James Fuller), Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) while Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) got some paternity proof.
At GH, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) confirmed that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) had the same father as her younger sibling, so Curtis looked at the paternity results himself and was elated to be the bio dad.
Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) was visibly disappointed and excused himself, so it wasn’t long until he tried to wash away all his pain in the locker room shower.
Curtis and Portia spoke alone about finalizing their divorce and agreed to joint custody of the baby.f he
Portia caught up with Isaiah soon after and got his reassurance that he was still all in on their relationship, even iwas bummed about not being the father.
As for Curtis and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), Portia felt confident that reunion would flop since no one could live up to Curtis’ impossible standards.
At Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) place, she helped Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) deal with a treat emergency since he’d promised to deliver goodies for James’ class.
That led to Lulu and Nathan addressing their romantic feelings again, so they admitted they’d opened up to Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
Nathan and Lulu seemed ready to follow their hearts as they touched foreheads in a warm moment.
At Maxie’s facility, James put up some Valentine’s Day decorations and showed cards to his comatose mom.
Georgie painted Maxie’s nails before James, Georgie and Felicia all took turns speaking with Maxie alone.
James was pleading for an ice skating stop as they prepared to leave later when Maxie called out “James Malcolm West” from the doorway.
Maxie warned that James wouldn’t be skating without a helmet, so James, Georgie and Felicia were elated to see her awake.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) was in his patrol uniform since it was his first day back on the job.
Chase had tea with Bailey Lou Jones (Riley and Miley Plonski)since they were watching her more while Maxie was away.
Chase and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) thought back to the time they spent raising Bailey Lou, which is when they were first falling in love.
Although Chase couldn’t wait to have a child with Brook Lynn, he assured her that he wasn’t pressuring her about the adoption.
Once Chase left, Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) joked around with Bailey Lou and opened up to Brook Lynn about the situation with Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner).
Gio worried Emma might move back to San Francisco following all this Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) drama, but Brook Lynn didn’t think there was any reason to worry about that.
At the PCPD, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) gave Jordan updates on Anna’s psychotic break and his uncertainty about continuing in the police commission role.
Jordan offered a pep talk and suggested Dante should make the position his own.
Dante later spoke with Chase before his patrol shift – just to make sure Chase could accept orders from him and that he wouldn’t overstep in Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) case.
Back with Curtis, he gave Jordan the news that the baby was his and that Portia had already agreed to joint custody.
Despite the messy situation, Curtis and Portia still wanted a romantic relationship.
Although Trina was happy for Curtis, she was still struggling to process all the changes and opened up to Ava Jerome (Maura West).
Ava reflected on her own experience with cutting Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) out of her life and regretted it once Kiki was gone forever.
Ava gave Trina a nudge to accept that Portia was a human being who made mistakes and give her mom the opportunity to show she’d learned from them.
General Hospital spoilers say Trina and Portia will try to rebuild their bond over time, so stay tuned.
