General Hospital Thursday, December 4 Recap: Sidwell’s Incriminating Photos Horrify Laura – Curtis Canceled Hit on Drew
General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, December 4, indicates that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) had some incriminating photos that horrified Laura Collins (Genie Francis). It was also revealed that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) canceled the hit on Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) by stopping the wire transfer to Selina Wu (Lydia Look).
At Brown Dog Bar, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) kept stealing glances at Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), who downed drinks and had a flirty catchup session with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) following her faked demise.
Jason also listened to Damian Spinelli’s (Bradford Anderson) concerns about Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) coma situation and offered a pep talk.
At Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) place, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) found Molly Lansing-Davis’ (Kristen Vaganos) missing phone and realized her sister missed Cody’s invitation to join him at Brown Dog Bar.
With Kristina’s encouragement, Molly got all dolled up and headed to the bar so she could meet up with Cody.
Back with Britt on Thursday’s GH episode, she was getting tipsy and convinced a reluctant Cody to dance with her. Britt planted a kiss on Cody right as Molly walked in and saw the pair in action.
Molly rushed out the door without Cody ever realizing she was there. Cody then pushed Britt away and let her know that although the woman he was into didn’t show up tonight, there was still someone else in the picture.
Cody ultimately sat down at a table alone and looked glum since he noticed his message inviting Molly had been read with no response.
Britt tried to order more booze, but Jason piped up and ordered her water instead. After Jason mentioned something about Britt putting on a show, she dared Jason to kiss her if he didn’t like someone else doing it.
At The Savoy, Curtis came clean to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) about hiring the hit on Drew and offering Selina $1 million to make it happen.
However, Curtis couldn’t go through with it and canceled the wire transfer at Aurora, so Selina never got the money to take Drew out. Jordan believed Curtis and gave him a kiss along with a hug since she knew the kind of man he was.
At Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) apartment, she opened up to Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) about her fear that Curtis or Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) might be behind Drew’s demise.
Kai didn’t think Trina’s parents would let Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) or anyone else take the fall if they’d actually committed the crime. In the end, Trina went along with Kai’s plan to figure out who really shot Drew.
At Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) house, Rick Lansing (Rick Hearst) flipped out over Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) making Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) an accomplice to all the laws they just broke.
Emma and Gio obviously didn’t know Rocco would be there, but they needed somewhere to put the dogs since the shelters were closed after liberating them from the off-campus lab.
Rocco suggested that if Dalton stayed out of town, then perhaps no one would ever know what Emma and Gio had done. However, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) arrived and fumed as he realized Gio was dragging Rocco into more criminal activity.
Ric put a “good Samaritan” spin on the situation, so Gio and Emma lied about freeing the dogs after hearing them in distress. Sonny agreed Emma and Gio saved the dogs, but Dante remained upset since he felt like Gio wasn’t learning from his mistakes.
Nevertheless, Rocco said he’d go home with Dante if he agreed to let this go, so the police commissioner seemed willing to leave the situation alone as they left together.
At Laura’s place, Sidwell was revealed as her surprise visitor and entered her home. Sidwell pulled out a photo of Laura standing next to her trunk when Dalton’s body was clearly visible.
Laura tried to act like it was AI, but Sidwell insisted they both knew it wasn’t. Sidwell also pointed out that Laura’s constituents would be horrified to learn she was responsible for Dalton’s demise.
Laura fired back at Sidwell since he killed Dalton and set her up. Sidwell eventually pulled out another photo of Sonny with Laura by dead Dalton, so he had them both right where he wanted them.
Sidwell insisted Laura would be working for him now, so he obviously relished the idea of having Port Charles’ beloved mayor under his thumb.
Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) also showed up after being summoned by Sidwell, who informed Laura that Ezra would be acting as his intermediary. Although Laura refused to strike an official deal, Sidwell felt confident she’d do what she was told.
Sidwell heard Ace Cassadine (Kieran and Karis Barry) crying on the baby monitor, so he picked it up and reminded Laura that she said she couldn’t be bought. Sidwell recalled saying that everyone had a price and now felt that he’d found Laura’s.
Once Sidwell and Ezra exited, Laura looked deeply distraught over what had just gone down.
