General Hospital Thursday, December 11 Recap: New Suspect on Traffic Cam Footage From Night of Drew’s Shooting
General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, December 11, reveals that new traffic cam footage surfaced in Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) case while Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) caught Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) getting passionate.
At the PCPD, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) was summoned to sign a transcript of the conversation she was present for between Curtis and Nathan West (Ryan Paevey).
Jordan learned Curtis had been arrested for obstruction of justice and giving a false statement.
Meanwhile, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) visited Curtis in lockup.
Curtis admitted he’d been arrested because he claimed he was alone at The Savoy the night of the shooting, but security footage showed Selina Wu (Lydia Look) there.
Curtis said he thought they could work together again, but then realized the cost of doing business with Selina was too high.
Since Selina wanted her return to Port Charles to stay hush-hush, Curtis didn’t mention it.
Curtis also played it like he didn’t think this was relevant to the case, but Trina was clearly overwhelmed and suspicious of her father.
When Jordan popped up, Trina fumed over her presence and took off with Kai.
Jordan spoke with Curtis alone, so he said there might be a way to mitigate this and pushed for her help.
At Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) house, Nina was hopeful about the charges against Willow getting dropped now that Curtis had been arrested.
Alexis advised against getting ahead of themselves since they didn’t know what exactly Curtis had been charged with yet.
Drew was upset since he still felt that Michael should be the one going down for his shooting.
Nina wound up speaking with Willow alone about the Curtis news changing things, so Willow looked at the ring set on her finger and seemed pensive.
Of course, Willow couldn’t talk about it any further with Nina since Drew was standing nearby with Alexis.
Thanks to Suzanne’s (Jen Ray) source, Alexis was able to score info on Curtis’ charges and the fact that Selina was spotted on the security footage at The Savoy.
Although Alexis still didn’t want Willow getting overly optimistic, she acknowledged the possibility of this becoming a premeditated hit case.
If Curtis was charged with attempted murder, then Willow’s own charges would be dropped.
After Jordan called Drew to relay a message, he met with Curtis in lockup at the station.
Curtis suggested they needed to help each other since Drew didn’t want his attempted murder motive coming to light.
At Aurora, Michael reeled over the cops searching the place and found out about the Curtis situation.
Afterward, Michael took the latest info to Jacinda, who was trying on dresses at Crimson while Nina was out of the office.
Michael worried about the potential for Willow to get off the hook and have better chances in court.
Jacinda was concerned about Michael dating an escort and how that’d look now that Willow was married to a congressman.
Even so, Michael confirmed that their connection was real and got Jacinda’s assurance that she felt the same way.
Jacinda and Michael started taking their clothes off for some passion, so Nina was horrified when she walked in on their passionate moment.
Back at the PCPD, Nathan spoke to Dante about going through Curtis’ bank records to see if there might’ve been payment for a hit.
Dante also realized a labeling error meant some traffic cam footage from Drew’s area had gone unchecked.
Dante and Nathan watched the footage file from that night, so they were both taken aback.
“Well, I’ll be damned,” Nathan said before Dante insisted they had their answer.
At GH, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) wanted Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) to examine her since no other OB-GYNs were on hand to do it ASAP.
Portia insisted she couldn’t lose this baby, so Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) was taken aback over her pregnancy.
Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) had to order the tests Britt asked for since she didn’t have a medical license, but Britt assured Portia they were just a precaution.
Britt reassured Portia about her baby before putting the focus on hydration and a few days of bed rest.
Although Lucas made it clear he still wasn’t a fan of Britt’s, he offered to write her a letter of recommendation if she needed one as part of her medical license reinstatement.
Back with Isaiah, he questioned Portia and got confirmation that the baby could belong to him or Curtis.
Portia admitted Curtis already knew because Jordan figured it out and told him, but he didn’t know Isaiah was a father option.
If the upcoming paternity test results revealed Isaiah was the bio dad, Portia insisted she’d tell him the truth.
Since Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) needed an allergy shot, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) kept her company in the waiting area and offered updates on the novel she was working on.
Molly mentioned her cowboy character, so Kristina realized he was inspired by Cody Bell (Josh Kelly).
Nearby, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) was struggling with a scratchy eye issue, so Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) talked her into seeing an ophthalmologist ASAP.
This basically turned into a public service announcement for Demodex blepharitis, which can happen when a person has an overgrowth of eyelid mites.
General Hospital spoilers say Elizabeth deserves a real storyline, so stay tuned to see if she’ll ever get one!
