General Hospital spoilers suggest that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was clearly trying to send a message to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) during the Thursday, February 19 episode via some rapid eye blinking – was he using Morse code?

GH fans know the Navy Seal was trained extensively to get out of situations, just like this one, so let’s talk about it.

Alexis wanted to visit Drew during Thursday’s episode to assess whether Drew’s state was appropriate enough for Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) to endure.

Scout obviously wants to see her dad; however, the little girl has been through a lot.

After all, she’s already lost her mother, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), so the lawyer wondered if seeing her father would cause Scout to spiral.

Willow explained to Alexis, before she left the room, that Drew’s only form of communication was blinking. One blink meant “yes”, two meant “no”.

As Alexis was talking to Drew, she noticed him frantically blinking at her. She got completely freaked out, and she asked him if he was trying to relay some sort of message.

Alexis and Drew aren’t on the best of terms, and since she isn’t fully aware of his condition, she left in a hurry, completely creeped out by the situation.

It’s interesting that someone as bright as Alexis wouldn’t figure out that Drew was, in fact, trying to tell her he was in danger.

Alexis knows that Willow was the one who shot him twice in the back, but she doesn’t know that Drew’s wife is the reason he’s in this state.

With that said, will Alexis put two and two together to realize that Drew was attempting a form of communication, via Morse code?

As a trained Navy Seal, he’s well-versed in this, and since the Morse code mirrors the rhythm of blinking, he may be sending out an “SOS,” so to speak.

Alexis stupidly told Willow about the incident, so Drew’s wife is now on high alert, but that doesn’t mean that this is the last opportunity for Drew to do this.

It also doesn’t mean that the topic of Morse code won’t come up or be brought to Alexis’s attention.

Maybe he and Scout have played a Morse code game in the past, and if his daughter brings this up to her grandmother, the lawyer could finally have a lightbulb moment.

Alexis may even have a discussion with Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) where Drew’s intern talks about his feeling that Willow had something to do with Drew’s stroke.

Either way, General Hospital spoilers could be hinting toward an ironic turn of events, where Alexis is the one to save Drew in the end, despite his despicable actions against her in the past.
