General Hospital Spoilers: Willow Confirmed as Drew Shooter, Flees Town with Wiley & Amelia?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that this week could be THE week that the PCPD confirms Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is the person who shot Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), so could she flee town with Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia & Serenity Mork Macko)?

The ABC soap’s preview for the week of December 8-12 seems to hint that new evidence will surface in Drew’s shooting, and a manhunt for said suspect will begin!

During the promo, a clip shows Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), Nathan West (Ryan Paevey), and ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) in the interrogation room at the police station.

There are files and papers on the table as Dante notes in the voiceover, “Some new evidence has come to light, so who do you want to go after?”

A split-screen of Willow and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) then pops up, so the storyline is zeroing in on two suspects.

GH fans learned last week that Curtis ordered Selina Wu (Lydia Look) to shoot Drew, but then withdrew the request.

There’s always a good chance that the PCPD finds evidence pointing to Curtis as the shooter, but as the show is suggesting, a “manhunt” will unravel, and it seems very unlikely that the Aurora Media head would attempt to skip town.

He’s not at all a threat to public safety, and even if he were arrested, he’d likely make bail. Plus, Curtis is level headed.

He is a wealthy man and has the power and resources to “lawyer up,” so there’s no way he’d do something as stupid as trying to flee Port Charles or the police.

However, Willow is someone who would. She’s a risk and had to fight tooth and nail to make bail when she was originally arrested.

She’s also made a ton of dumb moves in recent months, without thinking things through.

If she catches wind of the PCPD having even more evidence that she shot Drew (even if she didn’t), she’d work swiftly to try to escape her predicament.

Willow has declared she’d do just about anything for her kids, and the thought of being apart from them would be too much to bear.

If the moons could align as Willow heads out of town, and an opportunity arose to snag Amelia and Wiley, she would desperately grab the bull by its horns without thinking twice.

This may also be the perfect storyline to expose Willow’s unhinged behavior, once and for all.

While fans know that Willow stalked Daisy Gilmore-Corinthos (Levi Clark Coughlin), and Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) believes it – Drew and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) suspected it – there’s been no “proof” that it happened.

Willow kidnapping Amelia and Wiley would show the world just how cray-cray she is, and her Daisy debacle would finally surface.

Willow’s always been a good person, but has made some diabolical moves lately. Still, it is important to note that her childhood trauma, not to mention what she endured during her time at the Dawn of Day cult, was never addressed or treated.

Something seemed to snap in Willow after she lost full custody of her children. The years of suppressing the distress she’s faced could’ve bubbled up and burst.

It’s clear that the nurse needs some sort of psychiatric help – far more than just therapy – perhaps some time in a mental health facility.

If Willow is somehow given a heads-up about what the police know (either someone tells her or she miraculously overhears it) and decides to flee town, with Wiley and Amelia in tow, she won’t be able to last that long on the road with the kids.

The idea in itself will prove how much help Willow needs, and when she’s caught, she’s bound to have an outburst that will secure her a spot at Ferncliff.

Many GH fans have speculated that Willow has dissociative identity disorder (DID), and this could finally come out if she attempts to flee authorities with her children.

General Hospital spoilers hint that once Willow’s mental health issues are exposed, and she gets the help she needs; she may finally be on the road to recovery … and redemption in the eyes of GH fans.
