General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that we have to ask: What is Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) going to do when Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) finds out Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton (Daniel Goddard) is dead?

When Cullum made his GH debut, he complained to Sidwell about too many people becoming aware of their work.

Cullum mentioned the explosion at the Five Poppies and griped about Dalton getting the police involved in his lab break-in before his “subsequent disappearance.”

Since this was a private conversation, there was no need for Cullum to keep things vague.

If Cullum knew Dalton was deceased, it seems like he would’ve said so in that moment.

Plus, Cullum later set up a meeting so he could quiz Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) regarding Dalton’s potential whereabouts.

Lulu said they figured Dalton took off to avoid facing charges for Rocco’s frame-up, so Cullum replied that made as much sense as anything else.

It’s possible Cullum was just testing Rocco and Lulu to make sure they knew nothing, but it’s equally possible that he’s genuinely trying to find Dalton and tie up this loose end.

Of course, Sidwell may not be able to keep a lid on Dalton’s grim fate forever. How will Cullum react when he gets updates on that news?

The fact that Dalton’s dead will probably please Cullum since he clearly thinks the guy was a problematic buffoon who risked their entire operation.

Dalton knew where all the bodies were buried so to speak, so he needed to be dealt with.

However, the real issue is going to be Sidwell’s secrecy and how he handled the aftermath of Dalton’s demise.

Cullum doesn’t like to be kept out of the loop on important information and may unleash his wrath on Sidwell as a result.

Since Cullum is the dirty director over the European division of the WSB, he’s arguably more powerful than Sidwell.

Although Sidwell may think they’re partners in all this, Cullum seems more like the boss!

In addition to leaving Cullum in the dark, Sidwell used Dalton’s death as an opportunity to put Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) under his control.

Cullum surely wouldn’t be happy if he knew Sidwell stashed Dalton’s body in Mayor Collins’ trunk and turned this into an elaborate blackmail plot involving Port Charles’ most notorious mob boss.

Cullum may blow up at Sidwell for taking unnecessary risks if all this comes to light.

It could blow back on their operation and invite more scrutiny that they don’t need when it comes to Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) final project.

General Hospital spoilers suggest Cullum may threaten to wipe Sidwell off the map next if he doesn’t start playing by the rules and divulging everything.

As for Sidwell, he may have to work overtime to smooth things over or risk facing the same fate as Dalton!
