General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) may get some unsettling news that leaves them worried about Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) future.

Now that the cops have determined Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) key was on Michael’s keychain, it looks like he had access to the house the night of the shooting.

Michael’s arrest could be on the way, so word may spread all over Port Charles soon enough.

If Michael gets charged in Drew’s case, then Trina and Kai may have a horrified reaction.

Kai and Trina knew this was a possibility, but the reality of it could really shake them up and leave them debating their next move.

GH fans can’t forget that Trina and Kai overheard Willow’s ringtone for Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) the night Drew got shot, so they know she was in the house and pulled the trigger.

Trina has already made it clear that she doesn’t want Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) brother to go down for something he didn’t do.

This isn’t a situation where Trina can sit back and watch while innocent Michael goes to prison.

Kai should agree with Trina, but the timing of when they’ll come forward could bring some friction.

It’s possible Trina and Kai will disagree on when exactly they should take what they know to the authorities.

There could be an argument about whether Kai and Trina should confess to the cops before this goes any further or wait a bit.

Trina and Kai may ultimately suspect Willow set this up and hope that the cops will figure that out sooner or later.

Before this key confirmation came in, even Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) pointed out that it wouldn’t make sense for the shooter to keep a key to the crime scene.

Nevertheless, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) jumped to the conclusion that Michael lied instead of suspecting a frame-up plot.

Trina and Kai may be smarter than that, especially considering what they know about Willow and what she’s capable of.

Although Kai and Trina may be tempted to spill the ringtone shocker, they might hold off and hope that Willow’s frame-up scheme might be exposed if the cops continue to investigate.

In other words, Trina and Kai may be wary of opening themselves up to charges of their own unnecessarily.

If there’s a chance the charges against Michael will be dropped, Kai and Trina may not be too quick to jump in and save him just yet.
