General Hospital (GH) spoilers promise that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) might finally get a romance that sticks, as he spots old flame Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) at an airport during the week of July 14-18.

Since Jason returned, over a year ago, he’s remained a single pringle, despite being the most eligible bachelor in Port Charles.

Sure, he may not have the most ideal career, but women dig a handsome, bad boy with a slight moral compass, so Jason is the total package.

Unfortunately, upon Jason’s comeback, things didn’t work out with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), as she was deeply in love with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).

JaSam was an iconic super couple, and while some fans wanted to see a reunion, Sam’s passing in late October 2024 shattered any chances of that happening anytime soon.

The show attempted a love story between Jason and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), but too many GH viewers got the ick after they kissed.

After all, the history between him and Anna’s daughter, Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCollough) was too intense to ignore – or allow for her mother to swoop in and claim her ex.

There were hints of Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) possibly having a thing with Jason, but that was nixed, as well.

Jason shared something truly special with Sam, but he also had incredible chemistry with Britt.

Many could argue that Britt and Jason’s sparks were just as intense as anything he shared with Sam.

In fact, upon Jason’s return, many GH viewers had “wished” Britt was still in Port Charles, but unfortunately, she met her demise in early 2023 thanks to The Hook, a.k.a. Heather Webber (Alley Mills), when she attacked the good doctor.

Britt and Jason had so much more of a story to tell, and it was a shame the couple never got the chance to explore it.

Still, what GH fans want, GH fans get, and if the soap could think of a crafty way to bring back Jake Webber (Hudson West) when he met his fate years ago as a child – and donated a kidney to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) – then surely bringing back Britt would be a breeze, right?

Kelly Thiebaud will officially hit the canvas sometime during the week of July 14. The ABC soap’s preview shows a scene where Jason is in an airport waiting for his flight when he spots someone familiar.

The look on Jason’s face says it all, as he looks both confused and emotional while he stares Britt – or someone that looks a lot like Britt – walk by.

GH audiences can’t help but feel as if Britt is returning, whether she has amnesia or has purposely stayed away from PC for one reason or another.

With Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Sutton) re-hashing Britt’s role in Rocco Falconeri’s (Finn Carr) birth, plus the news that Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is returning to the show, all arrow’s point to Thiebaud reprising her Britt Westbourne role.

With that said, GH is still remaining quiet about the role the actress will be playing. Fans will need to tune in this week to see how Thiebaud’s storyline will unravel.

General Hospital spoilers remind fans that Jason needs a solid romantic storyline, and a reunion with Britt might just be what the doctor ordered.

It’ll be interesting to see these old love birds reconnect as fans learn about what Britt has been up to since she’s been away from the little town.
