Since Britt is under Sidwell and Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) control, she’s being forced to do whatever they demand of her.

What if Sidwell’s latest instructions involved influencing Portia’s paternity test outcome?

Back when Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) won custody of his kids, fans later learned that Sidwell bribed Judge Eva Heran (Tessa Auberjonois) to make that happen.

Sidwell’s motive might relate to Jordan since she’s back together with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and very much a part of this storyline.

Since Sidwell has come to rely on Jordan and values her as an employee, he might’ve decided she doesn’t need the distraction of this Curtis reunion.

Perhaps Sidwell thought that by making the paternity results point to Curtis, it would blow up Jordan’s romance and put her attention back on her work.

Then again, Sidwell might’ve figured out that Jordan’s on a mission to take him down.

Maybe Sidwell is secretly plotting against Jordan too if he thinks she deserves it!

It’s even possible that Sidwell is setting up leverage – just in case Jordan does score dirt and try to launch his downfall.

Sidwell could then reveal his paternity manipulation and warn that if Jordan makes a move against him, it could lead to devastation for Curtis.

If Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) is the father instead, does Jordan really want to be the reason Curtis loses the baby he’s already fallen in love with?

Sidwell might be able to confirm Isaiah is the real dad thanks to Britt’s updates and force Jordan into a terrible situation.
