General Hospital Spoilers: Carly and Valentin Busted, But Is It Jason or Brennan?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest someone will interrupt Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) confrontation with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), so will it be Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) or Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna)?
The GH preview for the week of December 8-12 shows a clip of Valentin and Carly in her living room, picking up where they left off from the Friday, December 9, episode when Valentin ambushed the blonde in her own home.
Valentin turns around as someone has grabbed his attention, and Carly looks emotional (and guilty), so it’s clear that an individual walks in on their heated encounter. This situation could go two ways.
Carly’s face is the look she often gives Jason when she feels bad about doing something he doesn’t approve of.
Still, Carly could also have the same expression if Brennan were to walk in on her talking to his nemesis.
On the one hand, if Jason interrupts, Carly’s BFF would do all he could to help her cover up her latest mess.
While Jason will be upset at Carly for her latest dumb move, he’d still fluff that aside to protect her.
Jason will clean up the situation first and deal with a lecture later.
With that said, if Brennan walks in on the two, things will get sticky, and there will be massive repercussions.
Valentin is a fugitive, locked up by Brennan and the WSB.
Depending on what Brennan walks into and the portion of the conversation he’s heard coming from Carly and Valentin, Carly may have implicated her treasonous efforts to help Valentin and bring her boyfriend down.
Brennan loves Carly and has protected her in the past, so would he do so once again, considering her betrayal?
Plus, protecting Carly in this capacity would be a major no-no where his WSB job is concerned, so Brennan may have a major dilemma on his hands.
Brennan may learn that Carly now knows about Josslyn Jacks’s (Eden McCoy) WSB agent status, and this would also mean he might make good on his threat to send Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) to Steinmauer.
It wouldn’t take a rocket scientist to see that Jason was the one to spill the beans.
As such, Brennan’s guilt for hurting (and using) Carly with the Joss lie could also have him turning his anger away from his gal pal, and placing it on Jason, and thus, Britt.
Then again, this scene might be the very thing that triggers Brennan to reveal his dark side.
Brennan is a character that shifts both ways, but it seems as if his inner baddie has been coming way more lately.
General Hospital fans recently saw Brennan haul S. Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) away to an undisclosed location when the young man had defied his boss’s request to end his romantic relationship with Joss.
Brennan told Vaughn that this is what happens when his orders aren’t met, and it was very reminiscent of what Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) told Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton (Daniel Goddard) right before he shot him.
GH viewers have always been wary of whether Brennan is a “good” guy or not, so catching Carly with Valentin, and Brennan’s reaction and actions after the fact, could solidify his villain status on the soap, moving forward.
Recruiting Joss to the bureau, while wining and dining her mom, always seemed like such a sketchy move on Brennan’s part.
Not to mention his confrontation with Jason some weeks ago, where he threatened the biggest hero on the canvas; so, are all signs that Brennan isn’t a good guy at all.
The fact that Jason has continually warned Carly about Brennan seems to hint that as well.
Do GH writers pull the trigger on Brennan’s bad guy status during the week of December 8-12?
General Hospital spoilers indicate some major plot twists on the horizon over the next five days, so fans will have to tune in to find out!
