General Hospital Spoilers: Anna Returns for Next Mystery Chapter, Hostage Needs an Escape Route

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will return for the next chapter of her captivity mystery. This hostage will need an escape route, so let’s discuss what’s ahead for Anna during the week of December 8-12.
GH fans will recall that someone ambushed Anna in her car and chloroformed her.
Soon after, Anna found herself restrained somewhere and heard what sounded like Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) voice on a speaker.
Although Anna was told she was on her way to a brand-new life, it won’t feel like much of a life at all in her cramped prison quarters.
Anna will be stuck bunking in a small, drab room without any way out.
Of course, Anna won’t just accept her fate!
Viewers will see Anna with a pencil and notepad in her hands, so may jot down some clues or theories as she brainstorms.
Then again, it’s possible there’ll be someone in charge of caring for Anna that she can befriend and manipulate.
Anna might write a message and try to get it delivered back to her loved ones at some point.
Whatever the case, Anna will keep a cool head during all this and work on figuring out what’s really going on here.
We’ll see Anna mull over her circumstances and who could be behind them, so maybe fans will get a step closer to solving the mystery, too.
Since Faison’s voice was heard shortly after Anna was snatched, she may think back to Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) gaslighting suggestion.
Anna may assume someone wants her to think Faison is alive while using AI to mimic his voice.
That said, Anna knows better than to completely rule out a Faison comeback.
There’ll be a lot for Anna to think about, but she’ll have plenty of time to do it as her forced captivity stint continues.
Anna could use an escape route or a rescuer, but she may remain frustrated and locked up for a while longer.
As for the people Anna cares about, they have no reason to expect Anna back anytime soon since they assume she’s off on a highly classified WSB mission.
General Hospital spoilers say Anna will contemplate a solution to the jam she’s stuck in and hope for better news eventually, so stay tuned for updates on this mess.
