General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of January 5-9 reveal that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) will figure out who Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooter is, while the congressman issues a dire threat to someone in the courtroom.

Plus, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is ready to leave Port Charles, so let’s unpack all the drama that is slated to unfold over the next five days.

General Hospital has released its preview for the week of January 5, and as per the usual, it has some explosive insight.

The prom opens with a scene of Valentin packing up his stuff from Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) attic.

The blonde asks the fugitive, “What’s going on?” He replies, “It’s time for me to leave.”

Valentin is exiting the little town; however, will he take Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) with him?

As the preview continues, a clip from Willow Tait Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) trial is shown.

The court bailiff boldly states, “All rise,” as Willow and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) get up from their seats, as well as others in the courtroom: Drew, Kai, and Trina, who are in the pews behind Willow and Alexis.

ADA Justine Turner’s (Nazneen Contractor) voice can be heard in the background as a picture of the gun that shot Drew is shown.

She seemingly asks Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), who is on the stand, “Have you ever touched this weapon?” Michael looks pensive but does not reply.

Drew will also take the stand this week, and he’s shown exploding in the General Hospital promo video for the week of January 5.

Congressman cutthroat exclaims, “You are going to rot in prison!” As he says this, flashes of character close-ups, also on the stand, pop up.

From Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), Ezer Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove), Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), and Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell); all these individuals look intense and serious as they are examined and cross-examined.

The last clip of this montage is of Willow having a panic attack at the table next to her attorney, Alexis.

The final scene of the GH preview is of Alexis opening the door to her home.

While the person behind it is not seen, Trina’s voice can be heard saying, “We know who shot Drew.”
