General Hospital comings and goings confirm Stephanie Erb assumes the role of Alexis Davis this week. Also, a new character joins the GH cast, and another’s exit creates more drama. Now, take a look at the latest casting updates for the ABC sudser.

GH casting news reports that Alexis Davis will look slightly different starting this week. Stephanie Erb will temporarily replace Nancy Lee Grahn while she recovers from spinal surgery. Stephanie may look very familiar to fans.

Long-time actress Stephanie has been in a slew of movies and TV series. Some include Star Trek: Enterprise, NCIS: Los Angeles, Weeds, etc. Now, Stephanie Erb takes on the part of long-time character Alexis Davis.

Stephanie recently shared the photo above that shows Alexis injured. Alexis’ injury results from Harmony Miller’s (Inga Cadranel) downward spiral. Harmony is off the rails.

And soon, Alexis and her friend Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) are in grave danger. No doubt, Alexis will regret letting Harmony into her life, especially after learning that Harmony is to blame for Neil Byrne’s (Joe Flanigan) death.

Alexis’ storyline is on fire this week. And fans are thrilled that Stephanie will keep the story moving until Nancy returns to General Hospital. 

Cast Update: Vanessa Mathison Shakes Things Up

General Hospital comings and goings saw Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) share scenes with his real-life wife Vanessa Mathison (Mia) last week.

Mia is a business coach who is helping Drew decide if ELQ is the best fit for him. Or if he should stay at Aurora Media.

Now, Mia has Drew thinking that ELQ and Aurora Media should merge. However, the idea doesn’t sit well with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth). And it is sure to cause some major family drama.

Not to mention, Mia seems to show personal interest in Drew also. So, Vanessa may return to General Hospital as a love interest for her real-life hubby.

Also, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is finally back to stay. And Val will get much closer to his lady love Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

General Hospital Casting News: Brendon Byrne Out
