Emmerdale fans have predicted the police are closing in on a fan favourite character after the latest episode of the show.

In tonight’s Emmerdale episode, fans of the show witnessed Bear being interrogated by the police after confessing to the murder of Ray, who had exploited Bear and many others throughout the village. During the interrogation, Bear appeared confused, but said that only he had killed Ray and covered it up.

However, the police were not so easy to fool, as they began asking if Paddy or Dylan were involved in the murder, after Bear said there was a lot of noise. Then, they began to close in on Moira, who actually was uninvolved.

They began asking Bear if Moira had helped him cover it up, or if she had been involved in the death of Anya or Celia. When Bear said Cain had been to see him to testify, the police asked if Cain had convinced him to lie on Moira’s behalf.

Now, fans are worried the police are going to keep going after Moira despite her innocence. @megssoro said: “Moira needs a restraining order against this DS she’s proper obsessed with our highland farmer queen”.

Some even predicted others were involved, with @TonyCoffey15 saying: “Why is this detective so fixated on moira, I think she’s working for Joe, what else could it be.”

@RyanSoapKing25 added: “Bear is clearly unwell what a nasty b****** DS Walsh is.” @ShakyWoon wrote: “Bear let’s slip that Cain had harassed him! Cain and Moira could be in deep trouble now…”

Then, @TellyChat1 simply said: “Hurry up and let Moira home”.
