Amy Walsh’s final Emmerdale scenes have been confirmed as she welcomes her second baby

Emmerdale have confirmed when Amy Walsh’s final scenes will air on the ITV soap as Tracy Metcalfe sets out for a new life away from the village with daughter Frankie.

Amy Walsh made her debut as Tracy Robinson in 2014 who was introduced due to her connection with Sam Dingle after meeting on an adult chat line. Since then, she’s become a full-time cast member and has found herself involved in some of the major storylines this year.

After the horror of the Valentine’s limo crash that killed three villagers, Tracy later learned that her ex-husband Nate Robinson had been murdered.

Away from the Dales, Amy is married to actor Toby Alexander-Smith who is best known for his role as Gray Atkins in BBC soap EastEnders from 2019 to 2022.

The pair met in the audience of Strictly Come Dancing back in 2019 when Amy was supporting Emmerdale co-star Kelvin Fletcher and Toby was cheering on co-star Emma Barton.

On Monday (March 23), Amy took to her Instagram where she confirmed that her second daughter has been born after announcing her pregnancy last year. Sharing a black and white photo showing her baby daughter’s legs with the hospital band still around one of them. She gushed: “This time last week I was heading into established labour.

“We’ve been in the most magical bubble ever since”. The actress was congratulated by her co-stars, as Katie Hill penned: “Omg congratulations to you both!!” and Isabel Hodgins who welcomed her little girl Georgie this year, added: “Amazing!!”

Amy and Toby welcomed their first daughter, Bonnie Mae, in 2021 and have excitedly kept fans updated on their second pregnancy journey through social media.

Over the last few weeks, Emmerdale has been leading up to Amy’s exit from the Dales ready for maternity leave. Tracy received a job office from outside of the village, and is tempted for her and her daughter, Frankie, to have a fresh start after everything that has happened.

Although Vanessa attempted to convince her to stay, the ITV soap has seemingly confirmed that Tracy’s last appearance will be Sunday March 29 in new spoilers.

Airing in just a few days, Tracy is hopeful that Cain will make it in time to say goodbye to his granddaughter before they leave the village. Of course, that means bidding farewell to Amy just weeks after viewers also said “see you soon” to Isabel Hodgins who is also currently on maternity leave.
