Days of Our Lives (DOOL) preview video for the week of November 3-7 reveals that Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) will seemingly get hit by a car. Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) will also pick the perfect baby name, so let’s talk about what’s coming up in Salem.

DOOL’s weekly promo kicks off with Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo), who opens up to Tate Black (Leo Howard) about not even knowing the kid was his until now.

Aaron will reflect on how he just signed away all his parental rights, but it appears second thoughts will creep in.

Will Aaron try to undo his decision and put Johnny and Chanel’s adoption in jeopardy?

Regardless, the adoption will indeed move forward, so Belle Black (Martha Madison) will inform Chanel and Johnny that they are now the parents of Baby Tesoro (Joseph Ihlenf and Jordan Perdue).

Of course, “Tesoro” was always meant to be a fun placeholder nickname for his foster family.

It’ll be Johnny and Chanel who give the baby a more permanent name – and they’ll think they’ve found the perfect one.

Johnny and Chanel will tell Belle, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) that the baby will now be known as Trey – as in John the third.

It’ll be a great way to honor John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) memory, so Marlena will be touched.

Over with Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk), she’ll sound the alarm to Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) about something tragic that’s about to happen.

Some dramatic moments are on the way – starting with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) shoving Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) out of a knife’s path at the Horton Town Scare.

That’ll lead to Alex getting hit with the pumpkin that Thomas and Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) are launching at Cat.

Alex will end up unconscious briefly, but he’ll be OK according to Days spoilers.

Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will realize Cat was the intended pumpkin target, so he’ll scold Thomas soon enough.

Thomas and Chad’s relationship will fracture even further later in the week.

It turns out Thomas and Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) will spot Chad consoling Cat and get the wrong idea.

Thomas will assume Chad is still dating Cat despite all his promises to the contrary.

“All you care about is her!” Thomas shouts at Chad in Days’ weekly preview video.

From there, Thomas will bolt and leave Chad horrified along with Jennifer as he apparently runs into the path of a speeding car.

Jennifer and Chad will call out to stop Thomas, but it seems it’ll be too late based on the screeching tires heard in Days’ promo clip.

Days of Our Lives spoilers point to Thomas being rushed to the hospital with serious injuries, so stay tuned for updates on any major medical news.
