While Thomas and Rachel have been clashing, lately, the two may bond over the disapproval they have for their dad’s girlfriends.

They are family after all, and a couple of spats doesn’t mean their friendship is over, right?

While Rachel was the one who told Thomas about Chad’s relationship with Cat, and how Cat paraded around as his mom, Abigail DiMera (last played by Marci Miller) – this could be water under the bridge if Rachel helps him break up Cat and Chad.

Rachel can offer more than a few tricks up her sleeve when it comes to pushing Cat away from Chad, so could Thomas decide to take a chapter out of his cousin’s book and stir the pot?

DOOL fans already saw him blurt out that Chad was dating Cat in his anger during the October 6 episode to his disapproving grandmother, Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves).

Thomas knew that Jenn didn’t like Cat and figured out why, so he understood exactly what he was doing when he threw his dad under the bus.

With that said, Thomas has always been a good kid, but could spending more time with Rachel, as well as the anger he has around being lied to, cause the little boy to spiral into “problem child” territory, just like Rachel?

Regardless of whether he turns into a terribly behaved child or even a master manipulator, Thomas will definitely rattle Cat and Chad’s relationship.

Chad’s kids are his world. The last thing he wants to do is to upset them, and he’ll stop at nothing to go above and beyond for them.

While he won’t want them to dictate his love life, Chad also doesn’t want them to feel as if they aren’t a priority.

Thomas’s feelings matter, and Chad will do all he can to prove that to his little boy. But can Chad also juggle Cat’s feelings, too?

Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest that Thomas could take advantage of his father’s empathy, and possibly scare Cat away in the process, so will this romance last the long haul if Chad’s kids don’t approve of his gal pal?
