So, Rishi explains to her that it’s extremely common. He says often in India loved ones live in a “joint family”. This would mean he and his fiancé would live with his parents under one roof.

Later in The Other Way episode Jen goes to an immigration lawyer to discuss her visa. During this meeting, she receives some upsetting news about her tourist visa.

Apparently, she greatly misunderstood the terms of her visa on 90 Day Fiancé. She seemed to think that her tourist visa would give her multiple entries. She said she thought as long as she would leave India every 30 days, she would be okay.

The lawyer explains to her on 90 Day Fiancé that her tourist visa is actually single entry only and is in fact close to expiring which would require Jen to reapply for a new visa.

The lawyer found her being wrong about the details of her own visa shocking. Fans later expressed their amusement on social media towards the lawyer’s statement that Jen was exemplifying “crazy American behavior”.
