Sister Wives: Janelle Brown Feels ‘Trapped’ but Loves Every Minute of It
Fans of Sister Wives Janelle say they could tell as Season 17 progressed that she was becoming increasingly unhappy in her spiritual marriage to Kody Brown. So, the news of her leaving Kody did not come as a huge surprise to her fans.
Since the announcement was made during Part One of the Tell-All, viewers says they have noticed even more how much happier and content Janelle Brown appears with her life.
The Sister Wives star shares that she feels a little trapped, though. But, it is not what some may think. She has been having the best time visiting her daughter Maddie Brown Brush in North Carolina over the holidays.
So much so that she was not bothered when she discovered that she would be trapped there for a few more days due to the weather causing travel issues.
Instead, she shares she loves the sunny 60-degree weather there today. But, she adds, she knows it is fake-out and that she has several inches of snow awaiting her back in Flagstaff.
Sister Wives: Janelle’s Tough Decision
Sister Wives followers say they are glad to see Janelle having so much fun. They know leaving Kody was hard for the TLC reality television personality. But she and her co-Sister Wives star Christine Brown appear to thrive independently.

<p>It was a shock for viewers to learn earlier this month that not only had Christine and Janelle left Kody, but <em>Sister Wives</em> star Meri Brown had also ended her relationship with him.</p>
<p>For Meri, though, the decision to end her relationship was made more by Kody than herself. She seems to be struggling with the decision more than her co-wives and says she would be willing to reconcile with her former husband at some point.</p>
<p>Fans believe that ending their relationship with their former spiritual spouse is the best decision for all involved. However, during Season 17, Kody clarified that he disagreed with Janelle’s wishes. So, she decided it was time to stand on her own. So far, she says she has no regrets about her choices.</p>
<h2>What Does 2023 Hold for the TLC Star?</h2>
<p>Many followers are curious if Season 17 could be it for the Brown family and reality television. But, per Christine Brown, she has no plans on leaving <em>Sister Wives</em> anytime soon. Instead, she says Season 18 has begun filming and that she will be doing most of her filming from her new home in Utah.</p>
<p>Neither Janelle nor Meri have spoken out about their plans for the future. However, fans speculate they will likely ride out the reality train as long as Christine and TLC allow it.</p>
<p>Some circulating rumors suggest the network may offer a spin-off series to Christine and Janelle. However, this is purely speculation at this point.</p>
<p>For now, Janelle plans to carry on in 2023, living her best life. But time will tell just what the future holds for her and her co-stars.</p>
