90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days is back and Gino Palazzolo stocks up on essentials before flying off to Panama to meet his long-distance love Jasmine Pineda. Usman Umar, AKA SojaBoy, is back with another older woman named Kimberly Menzies, from San Diego. Caleb Greenwood is heading to Turkey to meet up with Alina Kasha, who he first met online when they were just teenagers. And Memphis Sandoval is head over heels for Hamza, a Tunisian man she met on a dating site. Buckle up and let’s plunge right into Season 5, Episode 1 – A Leap of Faith.

90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days – Gino Palazzolo Grabs Some Goodies

New cast member Gino Palazzolo describes himself as 51 years young and in love with Jasmine Pineda, a woman in Panama City. He’s getting ready to travel there and finally meet her. But first he’s got to get some things to prepare for his trip. Gino was married before, to a woman he met in Brazil. But the spark went out after 7 years and Gino was left to start over. He met Jasmine online and admits she’s “out of his league”.

It seems Gino hasn’t really had much action in 2 years on 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days. So, he ordered up some magic blue pills to put a pep in his step (among other things). And hits up a pharmacy clerk for some more suggestions. After a cringey talk about a warming lotion that the clerk likened to “cinnamon on your tongue” he has a treasure trove to travel to Panama with.

But first he meets up with various family so they can tell him how foolish this is. His brother is concerned that Jasmine doesn’t know Gino is bald since he always wears a hat. But he assures him that she does know. Certain to be a 90 Day Fiance fan favorite, his Uncle Marco fears he will wake up in a hotel room “with a roofie”. And Gino reveals that Jasmine has a crazy jealous side when he innocently asks the name of the woman who served him takeout fish and chips. But off he goes.

Usman Umar Does It Again on 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days

There is one familiar face on this new season and it’s Usman Umar AKA SojaBoy. 90 Day Fiance fans certainly haven’t forgot the last time he was on the show with Lisa Hamme, who preferred being called “Baby Girl Lisa”. The couple actually married on the show but it didn’t last long. And now Usman has a new 50-something woman in his life, Kimberly Menzies of San Diego, California. The two are planning to meet in person soon in Tanzania for a video shoot.

Kimberly seems like a nice enough lady who takes care of her mother. She also has a Michael Jackson fetish and a small shrine dedicated to the “King of Pop” in her home. The items include MJ figurines and an autographed hat that she had hoped contained a lock of his hair, but no such luck. No word if Usman is jealous of her obsession with MJ. She does jam to SojaBoy in the car.

Not everyone is on board with Kim’s plans on 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days. Her mom is worried that she’ll get her heartbroken, of course. And when she confides to friends that they will be having separate bedrooms on the trip, red flags fly. Especially because Kim admits she wants intimacy immediately and he’s the one holding out. She also admits she’d be down with him having a sister wife so he could have kids. Her friends are pretty shocked, but lighten up when she gets upset.

TLC’s Caleb Greenwood Reconnects with a Teenage Friend

On 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days, Caleb Greenwood is a “zen” sort of dude. He likes to take care of his body by jogging and his spiritual side with meditation. We get to witness him doing both. Caleb travels a lot and dabbles in magic and the art of Tarot cards too. He also doesn’t have any trouble hooking up with various women. But for now, he is seeking to settle down with a former internet pal from his teen years.

Alina Kasha is her name and the two became very close at a young age thanks to the magic of the internet. Alina resides in Russia, so they never met in person. After drifting apart the pair have rekindled their relationship. And have decided to meet in Turkey to give it a go outside of the web. Alina is into several forms of creative expression including burlesque and fronting a band called BFF. She belts out one of their songs about her kitty having wi-fi. The lyric she actually used wasn’t as innocent.

She also was born with a form of dwarfism. She has some difficulty with walking and often uses a wheelchair. Caleb is aware of her stature. Alina is fiercely independent and lives with a friend. She drives, cooks and enjoys a strong social life. Her parents are very worried about her heading out alone to another country to meet a stranger. She worries that her limitations will be too much for Caleb. In the end she brings her roommate and friend Elijah on the trip to ease her parents’ minds.

Memphis Sandoval Seeks to Fill a Void on 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days

Memphis Sandoval is a single mom with a wild side. She is out with some friends trying on lingerie to take on a trip to meet her Tunisian beau, Hamza. After a divorce, she decided to dip her toe into the international dating pool and reeled in Hamza. She’s giddy over Hamza and is hoping things will move quickly once she arrives in Tunisia. The two engage in some sexy time via video chat with Memphis doing some shower dancing in a blue shower cap.

Memphis hangs out with her mom to do some baking, and reveals that the two have a rough past. Her mom suffered from addiction, so she was placed in foster care. She explains to her mom that she’s possibly trying to fill that void to this day. Her mom doesn’t really want to talk about the past. Here’s to a new season and new couples!
