The Bold and the Beautiful has had more than it’s fair share of shocking hookups, relationships, and marriages.  Some have lasted while others were brief flashes in the pan. Due to its short half-hour format, B&B has a much smaller cast than other soaps. #5 Rick Forrester & Taylor Hayes on The Bold and the Beautiful

This Bold and the Beautiful relationship was especially scandalous because Rick Forrester (Jacob Young) had just ended a relationship with Taylor Hayes’s (Hunter Tylo)  daughter Phoebe Forrester (Mackenzie Mauzy) and she was very devastated. Secondly, Rick was the son of Taylor’s arch-rival Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). Tayloe accused Brooke of stealing the love of her life Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).

This Bold and the Beautiful affair had a very tragic ending when Phoebe walked in on Rick and Taylor the night of Brooke and Ridge’s engagement party. Then Phoebe saw the two of them together and ran from the room. Rick followed her and tried to explain, but she wasn’t hearing it. They ended up in Rick’s car on the way to the party, and the car crashed killing Phoebe. This week, Taylor sparks a new fight with Brooke,

#4 Ridge Forrester & Caroline Spencer

This affair was born out of heartache when Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey) found out that her husband Rick had been cheating on her with Maya Avant (Karla Mosley) and was going to dump her and marry his mistress. All of this was because Rick assumed that Caroline was having an affair with Ridge. Ridge and Caroline grew close after that, and he comforted her and helped her move on.

After, Caroline was involved in an accident on The Bold and the Beautiful that injured both her legs and left her unable to walk. Ridge helped her get back on her feet. Through it all, they fell in love and ended up marrying at a private house in Malibu. Sadly the marriage did not last long. It ended in the aftermath of Caroline having a child with Ridge’s son, Thomas Forrester (Pierson Fode), and a messy paternity lie.
