General Hospital Friday, May 15 Recap: Danny Is Cullum’s Shooter Suspect – Curtis Punches Isaiah

General Hospital , Recap , Soap Opera , Spoiler , Television General Hospital (GH) recap for Friday, May 15, reveals that Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) landed at the top of Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) suspect list while Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) decked Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) in a fierce faceoff. In the hostage space at Wyndemere, Cassius Faison aka “Nathan West” (Ryan Paevey) brought Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) a bag of snacks and other supplies. Josslyn wanted something to entertain her mind, so Cassius eventually got her a deck of cards.

After Josslyn talked Cassius into playing cards with her, she got him to open up about taking over Nathan’s life and getting to know his brother in an unexpected way. Cassius also felt the love everyone had for Nathan, but he knew he’d have to disappear with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) when the cold fusion project was done. Josslyn suggested they could go to Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) together and cut Cassius a deal as part of Cullum and Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) takedown.

Cassius insisted that wasn’t an option and stunned Josslyn with the news that Brennan was in a coma. Josslyn suggested Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) as an alternative and played up how Cassius could be seen for who he really was if he handled this right. At the PCPD, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) checked on Dante in his office, so he opened up about his difficult conversation with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) and how the trauma had changed him.

Liz reflected on her own past trauma and argued the situation didn’t have to define Rocco, who had his parents to support him through all this. After Dante had all the evidence connected to the case brought over, he acknowledged his plan to destroy it. Liz didn’t blame Dante for putting Rocco first and eventually left for a date with Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst).

At Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) place, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) hid out of sight with his gun when Cullum came to the door. Carly tried to turn Cullum away, but he admitted he knew Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) wasn’t the one who shot him. Carly thought Jason should go free as a result, but Cullum acted like his hands were tied since Jason had done nothing to dispute Britt’s story.

Cullum assumed Jason was protecting someone and failed to get any help from Carly on who it might be. However, Cullum seemed to have a suspect in mind when he gazed at a nearby framed photo of Danny with Jason. Once Cullum left, Valentin reappeared and admitted he thought Josslyn might be safer wherever Brennan sent her.

Carly argued that they didn’t know for sure that’s what happened, but Valentin thought it was the logical conclusion. Valentin pushed Carly to come up with a story to explain Josslyn’s absence and accept that keeping her away from Cullum was for the best right now. Cullum eventually made his way to Dante’s office to demand the shooting evidence, but Dante acted like it was lost in a warehouse somewhere and that it’d eventually turn up.

The WSB director obviously didn’t buy that. At Café Cherie, Ric was early for his date with Liz and asked Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to meet him so they could discuss Molly Lansing-Davis’ (Kristen Vaganos) upcoming book release party. Alexis also mentioned her recent conversation with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and surprised Ric by admitting she basically put in a good word for him.

Once Ric’s date with Elizabeth finally got underway, he handed over the art that caused all the Sonny drama. The payoff was worth it since Liz loved the gift and gave Ric a grateful kiss. Back with Alexis, she met with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) at the Quartermaine mansion.

Chase and Brook Lynn spoke to Alexis about using her private investigator to dig into Delilah Wilson’s (Lily Cardone) past to search for Phoebe’s (Luna and Lucia Creighton) relatives. Alexis scored the list of art galleries from Delilah’s luggage and thought she knew someone who could pitch in. At home, Curtis made it clear to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) that he’d get justice, even if it happened outside the legal system.

Jordan later opened up to ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) about her concerns regarding the lengths that Curtis might go to. At the Metro Court Gardens, Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) baby kicked during her date night with Isaiah, so she encouraged him to feel it. Curtis showed up for a meeting and saw Isaiah touching Portia’s baby bump, so he wanted Isaiah’s hands off his child and said so.

Curtis confronted Isaiah over his lack of cooperation with Justine, but Isaiah insisted he had to protect his house call patient’s privacy. Isaiah also admitted his car was being repaired due to a recent accident. Curtis was fully convinced Isaiah was the other driver at this point, so they got into a heated confrontation in front of the other restaurant-goers.

Isaiah insisted he’d be a better father to Portia’s child than Curtis could ever be, so Curtis lost it and decked him. That sent Isaiah tumbling into a table before he fell to the floor, so Friday’s GH episode ended on a dramatic note. General Hospital spoilers say Isaiah and Curtis have much more hostility to come, so stay tuned.
