General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will face a baby adoption turning point. Will Chase and Brook Lynn finally prepare for a new family addition or deal with another delay?

Back in August, Chase was frustrated and disappointed when Brook Lynn pumped the brakes on their adoption plans.

Although Chase was beyond ready to start a family with Brook Lynn, the timing was an issue for her.

Since things were still so tense with Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), Brook Lynn didn’t want to do anything that might drive him further away.

Gio was struggling over Brook Lynn giving him up as a baby, so she didn’t want him to feel like he was being replaced.

Brook Lynn felt like they should delay their adoption plans until her relationship with Gio was in a better place.

The goal is for Gio to eventually be an adoring big brother and a real part of this family, too.

Of course, Brook Lynn and Gio have made some real progress since then.

Gio went as far as calling Brook Lynn “Mom” recently, so she got emotional as she gave Chase updates on that news.

With all this in mind, there’s a good chance Chase and Brook Lynn will revisit their baby adoption discussion soon.

Chase may hope that since Gio is coming around and on better terms with Brook Lynn, she might be ready to move forward with the adoption process.

This feels like the kind of thing that could bring a major turning point for Brook Lynn and Chase as a couple.

It’s possible Brook Lynn will give Chase the ultimate Christmas gift this year by insisting she wants to resume their plan to adopt a baby.

However, it’s also possible Brook Lynn will frustrate Chase all over again with another delay.

Brook Lynn might insist that things are still fragile with Gio and argue that she doesn’t want to do anything to rock the boat just yet.

If Brook Lynn pumps the brakes once more, it could cause additional conflict in her marriage to Chase.

We could imagine GH writers using this to drive a wedge and perhaps send Chase back in Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) direction romantically.

Whatever the case, General Hospital spoilers say Brook Lynn and Chase will have a lot to talk about, so stay tuned!
