General Hospital Friday, April 3 Recap: School Suspension, Funeral-Crasher, Ominous Warning BY Heather Hughes on April 3, 2026 | Comments: Leave Comments Related : General Hospital , Hot News , Recap , Soap Opera , Spoiler , Television General Hospital (GH) recap for Friday, April 3, reveals that Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) got in trouble while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) made some waves and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) said something ominous. At Crimson, things were awkward between Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) when he showed up for business-related reasons. Nina wanted to get past the tension, so she apologized for the Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) situation and what happened on the witness stand.
Curtis was apologetic for exposing Nina and Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) romance on Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) wedding day as well.
While Nina and Curtis patched up their friendship, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) shared a sweet moment with Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) ahead of her surgery to ease her endometriosis flare-ups. Once the procedure was over at GH, Molly awoke to find Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) holding her hand at her bedside.
Molly was still out of it from the anesthesia, so she gushed over Cody’s good-looking arms before praising his kind heart. After Molly dozed back off, she woke up again and was embarrassed to learn about her earlier behavior.

Cody thought it was sweet and brought Molly a snack before they started planning their next vacation together.
At Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) house, she scolded Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) over his suspension from school and doctored his face after the fight that caused it. Danny admitted the other kid was running his mouth about Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). After Danny pushed Alexis to work a legal miracle for Jason, he questioned if he’d ever be reunited with his dad.
Alexis couldn’t be certain of that, but she hoped Danny would lean on his other ones as he coped with Jason’s departure.
At Sonny’s place, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) tried to talk her ex out of attending Marco Rios’ (Adrian Anchondo) funeral and figured it end in disaster, but Sonny thought extending his condolences would prevent trouble instead of causing it. Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) backed Sonny up before Carly headed to the church.
That left Sonny alone with Ric, so they discussed keeping Carly in the dark on Sidwell’s blackmail. Sonny knew he needed to convince Sidwell that he wasn’t to blame for Marco’s demise or else the blackmail photos would lead to chaos.
At the church, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) apologized to Marco next to his photo and urn.
After Lucas made it clear that Marco wouldn’t die in vain, he turned his attention to Sidwell. Lucas assured Sidwell that Marco loved him, but Sidwell acknowledged that he perhaps didn’t deserve it. Over with Laura Collins (Genie Francis), she spoke to Ava Jerome (Maura West) briefly.
Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) popped up next and basically gave himself a pat on the back since Laura delivered the press conference he suggested.
Nearby, Sidwell pushed Jordan for the latest news from the PCPD and was upset to learn there was no definitive suspect yet. Once Carly showed up, she assured Lucas that Sonny and Jason weren’t responsible for what happened to Marco, so he acknowledged that he already knew that.
Ava and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) managed to call a truce for the day while Kristina arrived to pay her respects. Kristina let Sidwell know she was grateful to Marco for saving her life, so Sidwell reflected on their linked families as Sonny appeared with Ric.
Sidwell glared at Sonny before Ava led him away.
That gave Kristina a chance to question Sonny, who offered the same spiel he gave Carly about wanting to prevent trouble instead of causing it. The actual funeral service happened off-screen, so Ava praised Lucas for the eulogy he delivered when it was all over. Lucas eventually turned down Carly’s Metro Court room offer since he was still staying at Wyndemere.
That decision caught Carly off guard, but Lucas acted like he needed to stay close to Sidwell while they grieved.
Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) was also at the church and voiced concerns about Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) situation with Sidwell, but she insisted she knew what she was doing and that he didn’t have to worry. After Sonny and Ric approached Sidwell alone, Sidwell fumed over Sonny daring to show his face there.
Sonny wanted to pay his respects and said he was sorry for Sidwell’s loss. “I don’t believe for a second that you’re sorry, but you will be,” Sidwell promised as Friday’s episode wrapped up.
General Hospital spoilers say Sidwell’s fury will inevitably explode in new ways, so stay tuned.
