At the GCAC, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will approach Diane to deliver another apology. Once Jack points out that they can’t let Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) win, Diane will lash out at him since he was the one who hopped in bed with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk).
Jack will acknowledge that he was on drugs, but he’ll still be sorry for his mistake and all the pain he’s caused.
Although Jack will be willing to do anything for forgiveness, Diane won’t be able to give Jack that since she’ll still be so angry with him. After Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) pops up for dinner with Diane, Jack will assume it’d be futile to ask if he could join them.
Diane will confirm that it would be before sitting down to eat with Kyle. Once Jack leaves, Kyle will point out that Diane can’t avoid his dad forever.

There’ll be some talk about Jabot and how awkward things are going to be, so Diane will wonder if Co-CEO Kyle is saying she’s fired if she doesn’t fall in line and fix this.
Kyle will assure Diane that’s not what he means and that Jabot would suffer if she left the company. Kyle will just want a way to repair the damage between his parents, but he’ll see that he’s pressuring Diane unfairly. After Diane gets upset and bails on dinner, she’ll give Kyle a hug and part ways with him for the evening.
Meanwhile, Jack will open up to Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) about his Diane dilemma, so she’ll push him to earn Diane’s trust back and find a way to save his marriage.
At the Chancellor mansion, Devon Winters (Bryton James) will give Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) the details of Dominic Winters’ (Ethan Ray Clark) kidnapping and rant about Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) deserving prison time. Lily will think it sounds like Mariah needs psychiatric treatment, but Devon will think that’s a slap on the wrist.
At Society, Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) will question Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) about the long-term plan for Mariah after she gets out of the mental hospital.
Daniel won’t really know, but he’ll think Mariah’s committed to getting better and that the judge got it right.
Abby will blame herself on some level for stepping away and giving Mariah the opportunity to kidnap Dominic. However, Abby will ultimately know Mariah is one who committed the crime. When Devon meets up with Abby later, Y&R spoilers say she’ll be torn over the Mariah situation.
Devon, on the other hand, will plan to make sure the judge and district attorney don’t get reelected over this plea deal.
Abby will wonder what Devon intends to do after that, so he’ll insist he wants justice for their son and their family. Devon won’t think psychiatric treatment is enough of a punishment for Mariah.
At the coffeehouse, Cane will admit he wants Holden to spend some time with Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) and report back with intel that could help with Victor’s takedown. Holden won’t think that’s fair to Claire and won’t want to drag her into anything dangerous, so he’ll turn down the offer.
Cane will understand and won’t hold it against Holden, but he’ll admit that’s the only offer on the table.
Even so, Holden could use the money and will hope Cane will keep him in mind for other jobs that don’t involve manipulating Claire. After Lily arrives at Crimson Lights, she’ll try to convince Cane to talk to her. Cane will refuse and walk away, so Holden will sit down with Lily instead.
Holden will talk about how frantic Cane was while Lily and the twins were gone.
After Holden says he investigated in Los Angeles for Cane, Lily will give him the news that they were never in real danger. Holden will be concerned over the look he saw in Cane’s eyes earlier.
Since Cane is plotting something big against Victor, he’ll push Lily to keep her distance and avoid getting caught in the crossfire. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Cane and Victor’s feud isn’t over yet, so stay tuned!
