General Hospital Wednesday, April 1 Recap: Willow’s Eavesdropper Horror – Lucas’ Meltdown Over Cullum’s Guilt
General Hospital Wednesday, April 1 Recap: Willow’s Eavesdropper Horror – Lucas’ Meltdown Over Cullum’s Guilt BY Heather Hughes on April 1, 2026 | Comments: Leave Comments Related : General Hospital , Recap , Soap Opera , Spoiler , Television General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, April 1, reveals that Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) overheard something that shocked her, while Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) reeled over an awful realization of his own. In Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) office, Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) barged in and made it clear that Nina was out of time on prying Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) location out of Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke). Nina had to decide whether she wanted to protect Charlotte or Willow since that traffic cam footage could reappear just as easily as Brennan made it disappear.
If Brennan was able to locate Valentin another way before Nina came through, then Willow would pay the price.
Brennan later cornered Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) and suggested she could make up for the alibi disaster. Since Jacinda seemed like someone Charlotte might confide in, Brennan pushed her to score the Valentin info and offered intel that would help Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) in exchange.
At Bobbie’s, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) sought Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) help in finding out where Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was being held through her WSB connections. Laura questioned why, since Lulu wasn’t particularly close to Jason, she mostly kept the focus on Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), feeling bad for Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) since they’re practically brothers.

Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) eventually got Laura alone so he could push her to hold a press conference.
Since Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) was feeling so vengeful, Ezra pushed Laura to publicly denounce Jason and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for her own good. At GH, Britt’s tremors seemed to be returning as she spilled coffee on her desk. Lucas showed up with the latest news on Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), who claimed he didn’t remember who shot him.
Lucas quizzed Britt about what went down with her medication, so she admitted Cullum destroyed it.
That left Lucas distraught over Marco’s demise being for nothing. Since Marco’s phone was missing and Cullum knew Britt was on the pier, Lucas realized Cullum must’ve stolen the phone and saw the text about the meetup.
Lucas also determined that Cullum must have killed Marco, so he was horrified to think he was busy saving Cullum while Marco was dying. After Lucas had a bit of a panic attack, Britt pulled him into a comforting embrace.
Lucas eventually fumed over everything, starting with Sidwell and left Britt concerned over what he might do next.
Once Britt was alone, she made a phone call asking to see someone right away. In Willow’s office, Michael interrupted Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) to ask if Kai would be Wiley Corinthos’ (Viron Weaver) new Little League coach since Wiley’s other one was pretty critical. Kai thought stepping out of your comfort zone could make you a better athlete and suggested giving it a few weeks before they made any changes.
Michael appreciated the advice and convinced Kai to give Wiley some private lessons as well.
At home, Willow talked to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) about Kai knowing the sound of her cell phone ringing carried to the bedroom. Willow found it weird that Trina knew Wiley’s specific ringtone.
Once Willow realized Kai had a key to the house, she grew worried about the possibility that Kai and Trina could have been there the night of the shooting. Nina showed up to warn Willow about Brennan, but Willow didn’t have time to talk.
Since Drew’s caregiver was running late, Willow convinced Nina to stay with him and headed off in a hurry.
Once Michael arrived, he sat across from Drew and questioned what all his blinking meant, but Nina didn’t know. Michael felt a little sorry for Drew, but his disdain for him still came through as he slightly taunted him about his current “locked-in” predicament. Back in Willow’s office, Trina and Kai were inside talking about how they knew Willow shot Drew instead of Michael.
Willow’s eyes bugged out as she stood by the door and eavesdropped.
Meanwhile at Wyndemere, Sidwell praised Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) for playing the part of his dead twin brother, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey), so brilliantly. Since Cassius had embedded himself at the PCPD, Sidwell expected him to use his job to score information related to Marco’s fatal outcome.
Cassius insisted they had to be careful, especially since he already messed up police procedure once by breaking the chain of evidence. Sidwell was sure Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) had forgotten about that by now.
Sidwell was also pleased that Cassius popping up like he was supposed to that night on the side of the road with Sonny and Laura.
Cassius admitted Sidwell set him up for success with the whole Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) poisoning situation. By the time Maxie woke up, everyone was on board with Cassius, as Nathan gave her no reason to question his comeback. The conversation shifted to Jason, who had been planning to leave Port Charles with Britt.
Sidwell assumed Sonny ordered Jason to kill Marco on his way out of town.
Cassius lied that it was possible and suggested they needed to find out what Cullum knew, so Sidwell gave him orders to question the WSB director. Sidwell was eager for any proof that would tie Jason and Sonny to Marco’s grim fate.
As for Britt and her betrayal, Cassius agreed with Sidwell about her needing to be dealt with. Lucas showed up after Cassius was gone and wanted to talk to Sidwell about why Marco was killed.
“Nathan” ultimately found Lulu on Pier 55, where Rocco pulled the trigger.
When “Nathan” found out Lulu was trying to help Jason through Laura’s WSB connections, he warned against stirring up trouble. General Hospital spoilers say Cassius’ deception will keep piling up as this storyline moves along, so stay tuned.
