Let’s rewind a bit to when Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) exited the canvas in late 2024.

Back then, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) was beyond grief-stricken, looking for answers surrounding her boyfriend’s demise. She was also thirsty for revenge!

Joss approached Brennan at that point, asking for possible footage the WSB had access to from the public area where Dex was stabbed. Brennan fluffed her off, implying that the agency didn’t have any such technology; however, that was an outright lie, as he was able to obtain video surveillance that proved Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) was the perpetrator.

While Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) took the fall for Cullum’s shooting, who’s to say that the WSB doesn’t have video of Rocco with the gun?

After all, Cullum is pretty high up there in the rankings at the agency, and there’s no way they would just close the case without using all the tools at their fingertips to launch a full-scale investigation. Plus, if they could obtain footage of the shooting, then they could secure their case against Jason (even though fans know that Rocco pulled the trigger). Will Brennan be brought into that loop?

Could he launch a side investigation of his own if he feels as if Jason is taking the blame for someone else?

There’s also a big chance that Brennan simply overhears Rocco confessing to someone, or Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) are talking about it, too. Regardless, Brennan does often have good intentions, but when it comes to his WSB work, he can get as ruthless as a villain.

If he overhears something that can be used to his advantage, he’ll strike while the iron is hot. Charlotte loves Lulu, but in the ranking of things, Rocco and Valentin do hold a top spot in her heart.

How conflicted would she be if Brennan presented her with a scenario where she had to throw her dad under the bus to ensure her brother doesn’t go into WSB custody?

Charlotte knows how vile and dangerous the WSB can be, as she’s witnessed it firsthand, on the run from the agency with her dad. She also knows the agency and their agents can’t be trusted, as the WSB – and Brennan – have done Valentin so dirty. The last thing she’d want is Rocco placed in WSB custody, as she knows her brother could not survive their interrogations or prison life in that environment.

Charlotte would be stuck between a rock and a hard place if presented with an ultimatum from Brennan, so would she continue to protect her father, or would she spill on his location to save Rocco from the WSB’s wrath?
