‘Sister Wives’: Robyn Told By Co-Wives – It’s Your Baby So Deal With It?

Sister Wives star Robyn Brown looked as if she was verbally slapped in the face by the adults in her family during a discussion about work. Recently, interest bubbled up among Sister Wives fans about the fate of My Sisterwife’s Closet. Robyn Brown started the site as an online business. She believed at the time it gave all five Brown adults a way to generate an income.

Sister Wives: Robyn Brown Missed The Mark?

Questions about what happened to My Sister Wife’s Closet recently surfaced. The site hasn’t been taking orders for over two years now. When you check this online store, it appears the Sister Wives spouses created this together. All their names appear in the credits for the site.

But for the last few years, if you view the shop, the message says “We’ll Be Back.” It also conveys that they are busy updating their online store for their customers. Well, as one fan said, after all this time maybe they’re about to reveal one colossal upgrade to the store. But the other possibility is – maybe they forgot about it and it’s never coming back.

Sister Wives: Christine Brown - Robyn Brown

When the site first opened it became clear to the Sister Wives spouses that it needed more than just an open door to gain some sales. So, a few years back it appears Robyn Brown called a meeting of the Sister Wives adults regarding this.

Back then, Kody Brown, Meri Brown, Janelle Brown, and Christine Brown all sat down with Robyn to hear what she had to say. As soon as she finished her spiel, it became very apparent that she missed the mark. Especially when it comes to working among the adults in this plural marriage.

My Sisterwife’s Closet – Solo Affair

It became evident that Robyn Brown thought this online site was a shared responsibility among the Brown adults. Then it became even more evident from what the other Sister Wives spouses said that it is not.

Robyn started by saying she feels there’s not much investment in this among the other adults. She believes they all need to put more manpower into My Sisterwife’s Closet. She was correct about one thing. It seems there wasn’t one other adult from the Sister Wives clan that had any interest in working the site.

From where they sat, it was Robyn’s baby. Janelle Brown piped up and said it’s been made clear for years that each wife does their own thing when it comes to generating income. Janelle Brown, who has a gift when it comes to crunching the numbers, made it clear.

She explained how the site cannot possibly support more than one spouse working. It doesn’t bring in enough money for two people to spend their time on it. Janelle felt her time was better spent working her career to put bread and butter on the table.

Sister Wives: Demise Of Online Shopping Site?

Kody Brown and his ladies took turns going around the table telling Robyn the error of her ways. She originally started the discussion at that meeting she called by saying she created this site for the family. Then she conveyed how basically no one is helping.

Each Sister Wives spouse, except for Meri Brown, seemed to say the same thing. Meri didn’t offer up her thoughts but she looked concerned. Some were nicer than others when addressing Robyn’s misconception on working this site. Janelle explained this site is Robyn’s to work at. Kody’s second wife stressed how she needs to put her time into her real estate career to bring in money. Christine was a bit what fans called snarky at the time.

Struggling Business | Sister Wives

Christine Brown told Robyn Brown that she’s sorry for any misunderstanding but it never was her intention to work the site. She said she’d support Robyn in her endeavor but that’s about it.

Then Christine told the camera her idea of support. That is to come to these meetings, not roll her eyes, and stay instead of walking out. Plus Christine adds, her intention is a career in real estate as well. Perhaps the Sister Wives patriarch acted the harshest. Robyn said how Kody considers this a hobby. The irritated shared husband denied this. He said he doesn’t consider this a hobby. Then he lowered the boom.

Kody elaborated by saying if this was a hobby he’d be having fun.  And… he is not having fun. He then goes off in left field about how he can’t work with his wives. So suddenly, this all becomes about Kody Brown.

Robyn Brown Blind-Sided?

Well, Robyn Brown looked as if she was verbally mowed down, run over, and put in her place. She came to this meeting with a reprimanding tone towards the four Brown spouses. Robyn Brown started something for the Sister Wives family and in her eyes, they dropped the ball.

But she quickly learned she started something for herself and it is her gig alone. The fourth wife of Kody Brown got a quick education about how each wife has their own form of work.

It’s the money they generate from these separate jobs that they pool together to take care of the family’s needs. Although Janelle seemed to think Robyn knew this all along.

This boils down to instead of Robyn thinking she was left out in the cold, she learned that she wasn’t pulling her own weight. So, for all the fans out there wondering what happened to My Sisterwife’s Closet, it looks like the scenes in the video above offer a fair look at how things transpired.

It also looks as if instead of Robyn picking up that ball and rolling with it, she let it go. It doesn’t look like My Sisterwife’s Closet will open anytime soon. Although, the message remains on the site that they’ll be back. Perhaps Robyn Brown will work the site once again. But the Sister Wives jury of fans is still out on whether or not they’ll see this online site open back up in the future.
